i just tuned a fair crystal with the following stats;
Max Dam: -4
Min Dam: -4
Spd.: -1.89 (yes i typed this correctly)
Wound: 2
Health: 0
Action: -1
Mind: -2
Force Cost: -4
This is by far the highest I have seen the negative on the time. When I put in the saber, it does not adjust the time. Does the speed for crystals affect saber speed or do I have a bugged crystal?

I'd say try it with and without the crystal and see if you notice a speed difference. if not well you know what that means.......If it does work then thats one cool crystal

It sounds like it's probably bugged. Last I knew the pearls had a better speed cap, and their's is about -.59

nope, it is not a typo, and i tested it.....it doesnt effect the speed

its a known bug and it happens all the time . this means your crystal is actually -.00189 . the game cant display it as such so it shows as -1.89 .

yea i had that bug to... at first i was trippin that i had -E4.51 speed crystal (stil don't know what that E stands for) but it didn't really change anything :'(

Hi there,
im currently wateing on the old man so as i can start my exit quest and have been doing a lot of reading up on the forums here,
i have a question for all you jedi out there about crystals, how important is it to have the -8 or 9 FC on them?
i currently have a small stash of crystals, mostly they will come out to poor-good going by the guide on what drops what in the faq, so i dont expect them to be great, will this create a big problem for me as far as my force use goes? i obviously dont want to be regening after every single fight, also i have read that the stats can be somewhat buggy over the different qualitys.
also i was reading about the meditate regening 3x the speed, with this would it take long for me to regen my force, makeing it less important for me to have the best crystals at higher lvls?
to clarify im not really going for pvp, since i tend to suck at it in swg, hopefuly ill survive till knight when i can either kill a BH or just run away, havent actually decided on a template yet.
anyway this force use is something i couldent really find much info on as regards to this, so any opinions would be apreciated

ahh, so it may be more important to me with the lower lvl sabers than the higher ones, i hadent taken into consideration what i need to get to raise my force pool, i best go read up on that.

Hi, I have a lot of crystals, even a few twin force crystal clusters. I need to know how I
can find out which ones are "premium" and which ones are ordinary. Do I need to
get a Jedi to look at them or tune them or what? Thanks for the info.

Just get a jedi to look at them, they don't have to tune them.

ya jedi needs to ID them for you. However all of your twinclusters are poor quality.
