How are people finding out the quality of their crystals (ie. premium, good, poor). Been trying to figure it out for awhile, figure it's time to ask. thx for any help.

only jedi are able to see what the quality of a crystal is. so go ask your local friendly neighborhood jedi to help ya out

A little tip that I found. It seems that the quality of the crystal doesn't have an effect on the stats that will come once the crystal is tuned. I took 10 crystals, all of varying quality and tuned them all. The highest stats came from a poor quality crystal. lol

From what ive heard jedi saying about tuning in thinking the crystals are setup on the geocube basis where yellow is max dgm but low quality and green is medium with whtie and red high quality low dmg.

Heres how it works

the higher the quality of the crystals, the higher chances it will get good stats

How do i find out the quality? A Jedi can simply look at it, either from 1)examining it in a house 2) in a trade window or 3) in his own inventory ATTENTION: a Jedi cannot verify the quality of a Crystal by looking at one on a vendor or on the bazaar!!

The jedi can see the quality of the crystal, but not its stats. in order to see the stats, the Jedi needs to Tune the crystal to himself. once it is done, no other jedi may use it, and the crystal cannot be un-tuned. so be careful. also condition has NO influence on the quality... you can find a poor with 1.2k condition and a super crazy good with only 900 condition.

Color Crystals do not have quality or stats.the only thing that matters for a color crystal is the condition. the higher the better. Color crystals usually say a shade of color, like dark red, brown, orange etc.. but these dont seem to work, the Saber will always be either Red, Blue, Purple, Green or Orange.

I cant remember having tuned loads silly but anyway...Is there anyway to see where the grade of crystal is? like premium poor etc i cant remember, i thought by doing 'examine' it didnt tell you until it was 'tuned'?

If you (as a JEDI) examine a crystal/pearl - it will reveal its state (IE poor, fair, good, quality, premium)

if your not jedi - you will not see this

What is considered "good" stats for a quality power crystal once tuned? Thanks for the info.

Never seen/heard of a good one myself...just tuned a quality crystal tonight. Came out to +5/-3 FC

Correct. So what are good stats? I got one with like +17dam and -9force cost. So I was just wandering.
