Well... If they were just on the city Bazaar, you can go around to all of the different regular cities in Tatooine to find them. I guess as a noob you might not know which ones are the regular cities and which are player cities. Also if you don't pick them up within a certain time limit (maybe 30 days? or less?) they will be deleted.

But, if it was on a player's vendor outside a regular city I don't know of any way you can find them.

Any other suggestions, anyone?

Does anyone know how to transfer buildings and structures to another person with out tearing down the building and giving them the deed? I heard there was a way but I don't know how to do it.

Yes, the command is /transferstructure.

Just make sure the person you are transferring ownership to is near you, taregt the building's control panel or the building and type /transferstructure nameofplayer. You might not have to target the building. I think it transfers whichever structure you are closest to.

Even if you are not an entertainer, be sure to pick up the Novice Entertainer skill.

When you have Combat Fatigue, go to a Cantina (or other entertainment venue)and start dancing; this will heal you at a reasonable rate.

You can drop the skill when your character developes to the point that the 15 experience points cannot be spared.

Great guide. Wish I would have read this a month ago!

I'm still a newbie (playing since 7/20/04) but here is something I wish I would have known. For those of you that start out as a Marksmen, it would be wise to also pick up Scout. Markmen is good for gaining the strength/ability to kill things but lets face it, starting missions don't make anything. Even after a month I still only make 1,100 credits for a mission that I can do myself.

Picking up scout at the same time will also allow you to get scout exp with each kill (and subsequent harvest). Moving up the scouting line, keeping an eye on the trade forums for what people want (Avian meat and herbivore meat are my big sellers) and watching www.swgcraft.com for what resources are good and watching www.swgcreatures.com for what creatures drop the resources you are looking for will get you money quick.

I just made my first 150,000 credits the other day by selling a bunch of Herbivore meat I harvested myself on Tatooine and some Dathomirian Herbivore Meat that I gained grouping with someone that took me hunting. Much more profitable than Destroy missions early on.

Additional thought: don't use too many specials!! When i was a n00b i didn't realise specials drained health/action/mind, i was a fencer and didn't realise the main reason i kept dieing so fast was because i was spamming my specials, i just figured i had a sucky n00b character(which was only partly true). Your specials generally do lots more damage that your normal attack but there is a slower attack time with them and they drain your HAM. Use them sparingly.

Lol, ive been playing a year and still spam my specials, thx for the tip hehe

I have a tip for all newer players. Try and find something you like about the game other then Jedi.

There is a lot more to the game than being a Jedi.

If you started playing SWG to be a Jedi, you picked the wrong game in the first place.

This is a great help. I played the game for a few months and didn't really get anywhere so I stopped. Now I've come back and this post is giving me so much more advice. I can't wait to get home and start playing again.

Cool, I'm glad I could help.

Also, now that shuttle waits are only 5 minutes, the delivery missions can be quick money.

I can't say I wasn't drawn into this game for the purpose of being a Jedi (and the posts relating just how incredibly difficult it is to obtain that goal was both shocking and disappointing:confused, but my character's life is proving to be entertaining nonetheless. It should get even better once I figure out which way, profession-wise, to take her.

Thanks to all for the excellent reference material here.

As others have said, great guide, great thread, and wish I had seen it back when I started.

My suggestion is for the devs. (While I know the odds are small this will be seen by one, I did actually see a post from TH in this thread so maybe it just could happen.)

The advice to CHECK THE GAME GUIDES FORUMS is obviously oxymoronic here, but should be one of the first things out of the new player's helper-droid's speaker.

A link to this guide/thread available in-game to the new player would go a long way to enhancing their experience and keeping them playing.

(Just be sure to include warnings about the flaming and advice to take prophylactic antidepressants so the griping and whining doesn't make them have second thoughts about what they've bought themselves into.)
