there is also a new quest (atleast on TC atm) for Life Day. Gives you a Life Day Patriarch painting (Painting of wookie)

There are at least 3 paintings that are a random gift, a Male Wookiee, Female Wookieeand a painting of the Wookiee homeworld. Also note that people can also receive a Life Day Orb (same as last years gift) and that Wookies can select to receive a Life Day Robe. There really is no quest other than talking the the starting Wookiee in AH or other places, Naboo and Corellia also have them and then traveling toa randomplanet to speak to other wookiees (planets so far have been Endor, Yavin4 and Dathomir).

Yeah, all I got was the Life Day Orb. I sure hope when it goes live, that it can tell if you already own one of those and give you something different. 
And yes, not really a quest at all, just talk to NPC - go to wookie camp - talk to elder - listen to other Wookie stories- talk to elder again and receive reward. (darn life day orb...)

(darn life day orb...)Question: Has anyone tried to get the "quest" a 2nd or 3rd time going to one of the other Life Day Wookies than the one they started with (since they are on Corellia, Naboo and Tatooine) ?.... just curious if you could do this three times.
