DoomBringer dead in6 easy steps and in under 10 mins.

Things To Know

1. Out of 6 droids, only 3 are ever active at once.

2. No matter what you do you can never fully prevent the droids from attacking and landing shots on the radioactive core. The only thing that can be mitigated by kd spamming, calling them names, etc... is how long it takes them to blow it up.

3. NO ONE MUST EVER USE ANY AREA ATTACK ANYWHERE IN THIS FACILITY!

4. Most groups fail on this mission because someone inadvertantly attacks the radioactive.

5. Most groups currently fail9 out of 10 tries on this mission.

6. Speed is the key to this.

Step 1.

Split your group of 8 into 3 groups.

6 people assigned to group #1 (kill group, damage dealers)

1 person assigned to group #2 (tank)

1 person assigned to group #3 (tank)

Step 2.

In group #1 everyone needs to decide on one person in that group that will be responsible for targeting droids. The remaining 5 people should only ever target the designated person and use pass thru targeting to attack they designators target. This keeps the confusion low, and the chance of inadvertantly hitting the reactor low as well.

Group #1 should then procede to target an active droid and kill that droid(s) as quickly as possible.

Step 3.

Groups #2 and #3 (tanks) will each tankalone the remaining 2active droids that are not being attacked by group #1 using any normal attacks. This prevents the active droids from having they're way with the radioactive core, while the kill group #1 takes down droids.

Step 4.

Group #2 and #3 while engaging an active droid must drag they're droid over tothe nearestinactive droid. Again keeping in mind only 3 droids are ever active at once, the droids that are inactive will be the next to be active. Thus this eliminates the tanks from having to run around quickly to find an active droid when the droids switch. And cuts down on the amount of time a droid has to shoot the radioactive core.

Step 5.

Repeat steps 2 - 4 until all droids are destroyed.

Step 6.

Kill doombringer, hits hard, and has a high ham but its astraightforward fight after the initial 6 droids are dead. Keep in mind though the radioactive will still be vulnerable to attack, so again ABSOLUTELY NO AREA ATTACKS!

And thats pretty much all there is to it. IMHO the strategy where 6 people each take a droid, while 2 people are essentially the "kill" group is not only wastefull, but slow. And although people have beat the factory that way, I don't believe it to be the right way to do it, or how it was meant to be done. It simply requires that too many things be perfect in your groupin planning and execution. And most of the time things will just not be that perfect.

Enjoy!

ok, so when attacking the three yellow spiders, do you have to focus your large group on the one tha tis currently doombringer, or can you just kill any ACTIVE spider?

OK, just got nuked again...the ONLY spider that is damageable is the one that DOOMBRINGER has shifted into. You can ONLY damage the doombringer spider.

OK, here is what we've found. A spider, even an active one, cant really be damaged UNTIL it has been doombringer. Thats why, when we first start and tried damaging an active yellow spider with our damage grp, we didnt scratch it....

So your saying if a bot has been a doombringer then switches back to "hand of doom", I can have my entire team hammer on him till hes dead?

We tested this gain, and only doombringer could be damaged...We completed it by doing the 6+2 method.
