Can we get a checkbox that locks the icons in on the toolbars so when you're in combat you don't drag the icon off and lose it while fighting for your life.

Well...I am currently playing EQ2 as well as SWG.

I can honestly say I don't like the EQ2 setup. I never got into the WASD setup. I don't like it, never have and never will. Which is the main reason I totally suck at FP Shooters. lol

I will be one of the ones that will continue using the current interface. It works well for me, and am glad they are letting us have the option to choose.

But hey...Thanks for listening to the community when they asked for this.

There is one single feature I have been wanting ever since I started the game. It is very simple. I want to be able to enter into "guild chat" with a single key. You don't have to bind this to anything by default. Just make it possible to bind it in the options.

In case you don't know what I mean. I use the EQ2 interface today and there are the following default key bindings for entering chat:

G - enters chat window with /GroupChat prefixed

T - enters chat window with /tell prefixed

R- enters chat window with /reply prefixed

Thus, all I am asking for is another binding such as this:

U- enters chat window with /guildsay prefixed

This would make my life soooo much easier.

/agree 500% nothing is more annoying then losing your icons in the middle of PvP

How bout reworking the crafting interface, thats the one that gives everyone carple tunnel syndrom. The regular game interface was fine......don't see myself changing that.

Support for multiple monitors/windows would be nice. So that we can have the group state, waypoint monitor, chat windows and some other things on a second monitor.

But I LIKE my alt keys!

I've been playing since early beta 3, and this is the only MMO I've ever played. Do we have to change it, or can we choose to keep the current layout?

As long as we can keep it the same way, I will be happy. I have been playing SWG way too long and do things purely intuitively now. It would suck to have to relearn how to control my characters in SWG. That and I really don't want to have to listen to my roommate gripe for an hour why things are being fixed that aren't broken.

"Which did you like better? 'Jedi' or "The Empire Strikes Back?"
"Jedi"
"Blasphemy!"
"'Empire' had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, find out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All 'Jedi' had was a bunch of Muppets."

And stop telling Tyrant about bugs that I've already sent in and know about! When he says he'll have it looked into, that means someone comes and bugs me thinking I've dropped the ball.

I keed, I keed.

Not true, I just didn't know about it is all. We will get it fixed.

P.S. I play on a portable without a keypad, so I had not seen this in my own play was all.

I know- well, not about the portable (although I play on a laptop myself, no keypad, so I'm with you there). 'Twas a joke.

I'm glad you're not changing the current interface to this, and are just adding an option to the people that don't like the way it is. Right now, the system may beway different than any other game but the ease of mobility in any direction is pretty handy in a fight.

  2. Whats wrong with the current interface

1. I was on vacation (Thanks for asking )

2. Nothing for veterans of the game, but for new players, we really needed to provide them with a more intuitivealternative.
