Dakar is on the other slaver camp, use your poi's. He gives you a mission to kill 10 wookies, but I cannot find them. Anyone know where the tagged wookies are?
Uper Right hand Corner of the Dead Forest, to the right of the Webweaver cave.
Anyone have any idea why when I attempt to go to the other Trando camp to let them know where the Wookie is at (just the second part of the quest), I must fight the 3-6 lvl 80 guards that are outside. I had thought that possibly this was an Imp only quest but then I noticed that there were Rebs posting here about the quest, I am a Reb and tried going back combatant and on leave, everytime they aggro me and the respawn rate is pretty quick. I of course could be a complete dumbazz and be doing something wrong, Im at the Blackscale camp trying to tell em where Charwoo is at (I know Im murduring the name here). Any help on this would be much appreciated, thx in advance.

Hi Folks,
Not going to write a guide, but there were a few questions that have popped up a few times so thought I'd take a swing at answering them.I'm a Master Smuggler and Master Rifleman so my thoughts are based only on that template. I've gotten the rifle but haven't done the avatar, well, that's not entirely true - I landed on the avatar and took one look at the main hall and fled with my tail between my legs ![]()
1) Where to start the mission - in the small slaver camp, as you enter the camp from a 1st person view go straight, and slightly to your left as you run in - you'll see a trandosian standing in the corner of the structure - get close to him because it can sometimes be wiggy talking with him. He'll start you on your way.
2) If you can't shoot the wookiee ships - don't worry, I couldn't either - just hang near your escort ship and wait it out.
3) Where the heck is the Flight Leader? My first attempt I flew to the Avatar station and waited, waited, waited then bailed. Went up later and flew past the Avatar station, and changed direction towards the Imperial base and saw the bombers, the Flight Leader was flying just past them. It's a T3, and you need to disable, inspect, then dock with him. For me he was far enough away that the other bombers didn't join in.
4) Blackscale leader in the Etty Hunting Grounds, (If you don't have access, you need to start the access quest with the Rodians from the town map (SW corner of the map)) I don't have the coords for the leader - but on the map, the camp is on the far South East East side of the map. The leader is in a pack of guards. There are 2 stragglers leading out from the pack. As a rifleman I was able to take those 2 out, then used conceal shot to lure the leader out and kill him without having to engage the others. Not sure of other strategies for other templates (other than shoot 'em all).
5) In order to prove yourself to the wookie in the big tree you'll have to journey to the bottom of the Ryatt Trail to kill a Legendary Ministinger (sp -sorry) named Old Scratch. It is soloable with my template - but it involves 2 burst runs (so 18 minutes in recharge time sitting around doing nothing) and 3 Feign Deaths to throw the agro. There is a nook behind Old Scratch where you can park yourself and fire off concussion shots and regular shots without drawing the attention of the other CL81s. Then it's another 2 burst run, or (and I haven't tried this) but you might be able to usethe /unstick command to return to the start to the Trail guide. Mind you if your're down there already and killed Old Scratch you might as well find the Katarn to get the badge ![]()
Anyway, hope this helps.
Cheers
Dat
OK I was trying to get the rifle.
Now Im in the Avatar and havent gotten the rifle yet. Are you guys sure you get it just prior to having access to the Avatar? Or, did I get the shaft?
Ok here's a little guide for the rifle:
1) Talk to Boshaz in the eastern Trandoshan camp. You need to stand close to him to talk to him or you will get the "too far away message." This is a space escort mission kill 2 groups of tier 2-3 Awings andxwings. Its pretty easy. Then go back to Boshaz.
2) Find Chawroo. He is along the river to the east of Kashyyyk. Just east of the Ryattt trail. This is tough. Kill 5 lvl 80 black sun guards. Then talk to Chawroo. Then go back to Boshaz.
3) Talk to Dakar in the west slaver camp. He sends you to kill tagged wookies in the dead forest. waypoint 320 140. Return to Dakar.
4)Talk to Musolium (not Mosolium) in the same camp as Dakar. He sends you to get codes from a flight leader (I believe). To find one, go trolling around the Avatar. I found the leader at waypoint 4300 -800 -4400. The leader does not show up red on your radar, but he's yellow. He does not aggroe. He is a static spawn in the area. Destroy the engines and inspect. Return to Musolium
5) Talk to Musolium. Kill Klessk a Black Scale slave master in Etyyywaypoint -130 -730.
6)Talk to Orooroo the betrayerin the west slaver camp. He sends you to see Harwakokok in the big tree. You need to walk in front of the tree towards the starport until you get the mission update message. Then you can talk to Harwakokok. I couldnt talk to him the first time I went there. Then I went down from the tree to the starport. My mission was updated then I could talk to him.
He sends you to kill Scratch, a mystingar on the bottomof the Ryatt trail. Lvl 82 I think. Return to Harwakokok.
7)Talk to Orooroo and he will giveyouthe rifle.
Make sure you have room in your inventory for the rifle or you may not get it. I dont guarantee that all the info is right. Sorry if there are any mistakes. Feel free to correct my comments.

Question for the people that have it, since it doesn't require anything but a CL, do the rifle bonuses you have from rifleman still count even if you use this rifle? Or is it only general ranged things will count?
Though it only has a CL, it still counts as a rifle so all of your rifle speed/accmods apply as well as your general ranged speed/acc mods. This is really THE rifle to have.
