When it finally worked for me, I had a Mining Laser in Weapon 1, Tractor Beam in Weapon 2, and two Ordinanance packs in their respective Slots. Did you use Ctrl-O, Keymap, Space to identify your "Toggle Tractor Beam" command? Also, check "G" to verify your weapons groups. I know...it's all been said.
It took me like 9 attempts to get this to work for me. And, even then, it didn't work "as intended". I never got attacked during this process, I got "Incrementing Count" messages, and I got a direct resource transfer to my inventory. None of this is normal. Perhaps just keep at it?!. As horrid as that sounds. Good luck, hon. I hope you're not getting as frustrated as I was.
Worst case...you could always wait for Pub24...hoping for a Fix for this mission along with Mission 7. . Regardless, keep us updated...kay?
*pout* I did it for the tenth time last night (I now have 5000 of the iron resource it drops).
I'll reconfigure the tractor to the space bar, maybe that will do it. I currently have it configured to the '6' key.

Problem might be the limited amount of developers. If it were critical fixes that were needed right away, I'm sure focus would switch an expansion to a fix. If that isn't the case at SOE, they should hire me. I'll be finished my computers degree in 8 months less 4 days
