The plant eats water, and nutrients. Water is obviously such, water. Nutrients are any organic foods(flora, meats etc).

water and nutrient quality is important ?
from my experiences, no. once i achieved certain settings, it did not matter what i used quality wise. however, some people beleive otherwise.

I don't have a plant and not sure if I'll get one, since it sounds like a lot of work, but was curious how water from different planets affected growth.

I'm thinking of making a program where you can enter your plants status into which will keep track of the results and, based on your plant's history, give suggestions for care. Do we have enough confirmed data on how maintenance works in order to lay it all out in programmed logic?

No - each plant has different settings, and the settings for a particular plant change at each stage, as well as at each level within a stage. Best bet is a manual plot, as I posted before

I don't think you understand what I'm talking about doing. Lets consider what your "manual plot" accomplishes. You use the data to derive a trend so you can say, "When my plant has this much water and these nutrients, it acts like so." That's all I'm talking about doing. The difference would be that anyone with a Win32 platform could run it (no Excel needed), the records would be stored in a database, and instead of having to figure out the trend based on what your spreadsheet looks like, the program would identify the trends and either lay them out for you or give you clear advice for caring for YOUR plant.
The things that must be confirmed are:
1) The amount of nutrients and water your plant had BEFORE the update is reflected in it's new condition. The current nutrients and water will determin it's condition AFTER the next update.
2) Changing stages (from small to medium to large) changes the way the plant reacts to different levels of water/nutrients.
Does that make any more sense?

Hi everyone,
Need a hand here. My plant was doing great during the small and aurilian plant stage. The setting was at dry on water and normal to low on nutrient. It was at perfect condition and above normal growth. Now that it is a large plant and at that setting, it has started to wilt. I have gone all the way up to normal a on water and above normal a on nutrient now but still at wilting and vibrant and colorful now. Any ideas on a setting to try? Does it require more nutirent and water at a large plant? I understand each plant is different but wanted to get some feedback on settings from folks at large plant stage. Thank you very much for your time.
