I like the guide, but it has 2 fundamental flaws:
1) you base your dmg on jedis.
As you stated, these are very fragile persons, and very hard to come by. With our group (with 0 jedis) we managed to do 2 craft runs in less then 2 hours (we crafted the second part before our mind buffs ran out).
2) you use the mind buff "exploit"
I really detest any kind of exploit used in the creation of something 'unique'. no exeptions.
You can get equally good results on a group without jedi. If you have a good, well balanced group, you will never ever run out of mind buffs!
the key factor on 'good' groups is imo commando flames... dont underestimate their dmg.Lol i wish jedi were hard to come by, you cant move for white robed, 'Jedi' on farstar.
Lol, yeah - its quite the same on Chimaera... Loads of jedi

It certainly does make a lot of difference, our last 10 man group (with no Jedi) had no trouble getting into the mines, but the SBD's took us far too long to kill.... Took us so long the waterpump part of the foreman mission timed out :/ We'll do it next time though

Ye, the group tactics are the most important thing... But we use Jedi for 1 particular reason - Our 8 man core team can kill a SBD in 45 seconds. I'd like to see a group of 8 man without Jedi do that..
We found that out quite badly this sunday.
We were going to craft a Jetpack (we're taking orders, so that's becoming common
). After just 20 minutes, even before we get to the second locked door, our CM gets hit by a 6.8k dmg area attack. And of course dies instantly.
We had 8 guys to start out with. We continued. 7 ppl left. 4 DJK's, 2 Tanks, 1 Rifleman/Crafter. And we actually managed to kill the Overlord for the stabilizer, pickup a new Alum Mineral, AND craft a Jetpack.
We encountered a "fun" bug at the Droid Engineers Crafting Room. 3 of the DJK's weren't able to enter the room after our crafter unlocked the door. Half the group could get in... half the group couldn't. So inside the crafting room we only had 4 people - The crafter, the 2 tanks, and 1 of the DJK's.
Only took a minute to get the crafting done, and even though the 3 DJK's that got left outside the door had already begun to forcerun out of the bunker (myself included) we were still booted out of the bunker when our crafter completed the Jetpack. But a trip that didn't exactly go as planned.
So it can be done without a CM. But i don't recommend it. Myself and the co-leader are both Master healers, so we can take care of the others. Mindheal. Both the tanks had medic as well. We only managed because all the ppl we brought along on this trip is the core of our DWB team. Experience saved the day. ![]()

You went to the wrong overlord spawn, heh. The one that isn't a faction quest, is always there and always drops is the one in the mines.
well I had no clue that this Overlord woudn't be there. Was he on a break?
Damn game!
Guess I will have to get the other Overlord then!!!

We ourself have had the same issue.... and are beginning to believe that the overlord at point 28 will only spawn if someone in the group has the imperial dwb mission. I can't say for sure, but when we went downthere and all those who had the mission wasn't with us.... he didn't spawn. The droid or debris didn't either... but dunno if it was bugged or not.
Need more testing done on this, but since most of our core members has the imperial mission, it's kinda hard for us to test it.
well we didn't have the mperial dwb mission.
But the droid and the debris were there, we got it blown away and entered the room, but it was just empty. No other Mobs in there at all ![]()
I will try to get down there again, and see what happens....
When we run up to the droid, there is insane aggro >>> we die all
Maybe there is some trick?

Don't run up there then? Take your time and fight your way back up, and you'll have normal aggro the whole way. Course it'll take you a while, but if you had enough JEdi for their offense, and you were damn good, you might be able to squeak it all by in a buff session.
So there is no time to waste on fighting with each SBD

Lol, then tell me please how you did it
