just to tell you dagobah is a starsystem not a planet

This was taken from the Star Wars Databank...

"A distant, mist-shrouded swamp planet, Dagobah does not appear in any modern starcharts. It is a forgotten world, and it was the home of the last remaining Jedi Master and Council member from the waning days of the Republic."

So based on this I would have to say yes it is a planet. I also doubt that since it is a "forgotten world" we will ever see it in the game. Having said that I would love if they added it!

Maybe an old starchart could be looted and there by give players a chance to go there. There are ways of massaging the story line to open up the planet. I want it in too.

This is a great thread. If they're not going to add more content to dead planets like Rori, Talus and others (Lok needs work too) they should make a few planets that everyone wants to visit. Since its in JTL Kessel looks like it'll be there one day but I'm pessimistic about Hoth and Dagobah which should have been in there from day one.

why are you necro'ing old posts for ?

..Man.. Coruscant would be a killer of a planet if it were included... They could pack so much content( or could they? ) on that planet there would be no need to go elsewhere. Just kidding...On a serious note Coruscant a planet that is all city. They would have to have the right tools in place to get that one up.

Possibilties: Underground sewer system where gangs and other seedy sorts are located. A fun place to hunt a bounty mark- A BH chasing their mark all accross a city planet. For developers to build this planet in game there would have to be justification behind it in my opininon. What else can you do besides chase marks, or go underground? Theres politics and commerce but what else?

I hope there will be at least one snow planet in expansion and if you are not a Wookie you have to wear a weather coat or over a long period of time be penalized on certain stats unless you are wearing a cold weather coat or armor.

I also hope the new planets have a real alien design to them..exotic alien killer plants..honeycomed mines or caverns...Alien archtiecture...

The current planets in the game are some what different looking but I can see similarity in building design. I could ramble on about this whole similarity thing on architecture design and not enough aline feel but I have to log....

THey can put creatures on Coruscant. The EU has one in the sewer of Coruscant that Darth Mual runs into and don't forget even the Death Star had a creature living in its sewer system

Which would INCLUDE the Corporate Sector regardless of it being a zone of the galaxy.
Anyways...
Bothawui-Bothan home planet. Dunno about the planet details.
Mon Calamari - Home to the, duh, Mon Cals. Mostly, duh, water, and cities would have to be underwater, like the Gungan cities, with a oxyegen bubble surrounding city(or something).
Also Tralus, Selonia, and Drall, completing the Corellian Sector of space.
And of course, Rodia, home to our friends the Rodians.

Actually the Mon Cals had floating cities. But yes I would love to go there. It would be cool to see my fellow Mon Cals running around and take some missions to destroy those traitorous Quarren. hehe

Bespin would be interesting in light of the space expansion, if they could fuse the city with flight around the gas giant planet. The city could function like onegiant NPC owned immobileluxury yacht, allowing players in the city to view the players flying ships nearby. Let us fly in an atmosphere, vastly different fromthe regular space "terrain". It would be a first. (Is the space expansion a separate engine that would require people in the city to need the expansion for this kind of effect?) Bring in Lando and the sabaac tables and perhaps a few adventurous encounters on different levels of the city. Call out the twin-pod cloud cars!

How about a few other famous space stations from the EU or even some player explorable, NPC ownedcapitol ships? Let's get some real docking on! Make a space station expansion!

that's a great idea-better yet, just make space stations explorable, and set bespin system as a wacky sort of space sector, with the landing platforms as space stations, ooh then you could like, own gas harvesters and land on them with your ship, and the gas would be used in new items like meds or weapons... I get carried away.

HOTH! We need a snowy land to offset the steaming jungles and desert wastelands =)

If you want a snowy world that doesn't compromise the continuity of the game, and is steeped in both GCW, Clone War and ancient history, why not Rhen Var? It has many old, ruined sites which were once inhabited, which could be home to smugglers or Jedi in hiding, and maybe some more relics of the Clone Wars or Old Republic. It'd certainly be more interesting to play in than Hoth, IMO.

Worlds I'd like to see:

Myrkr.

This worldisn't known to many people, except those in thebusiness of Smuggling, or hiding, so you'd need to be, say, 3/x/x/x to be able to hyperspace there, and there'd be no public shuttles going there either as it's not on their routes. This world has forests that make sensors (and also Player Radar) unreliable at best. The Vornskyr's and other deadly predators could sneak up on you and kill you without prior warning if you're not careful. The Ysalamiri in the forestswould make being a Jedi on Myrkr extremely hazardous, as their Force abilities wouldn't be able to be used within the "Force Bubbles" the Ysalamiri naturally create around themselves. Plus, because they need special nutrient frames that aren't ingame (and because if any CH could have them, Jedi would be rendered helpless by most players), Ysalamiri would only be onMyrkr. Other features of Myrkr are the towns and small cities surrounding the forest with their Naboo-like architecture, the base (or temple?) in the large centralforest, which Talon Karrde will use as a base of operations in the near future, and the rolling plains.

Kothlis.

This is a warm world, with many small, hilly and lightly forested tropicalislands, surrounded by lush golden beaches and warm shallow seas.

At the Battle of Kothlis, an Imperial Star Destroyer was sent plummetting down onto this world, and exploded after its reactor went critical. The wrecked Star Destroyer would make for a super-hard Corvette-like dungeon, inhabited by scavengers, smugglers, quite a few stranded Imperials, plus a host of Imperials sent to investigate what happened. Also, there would be other dungeons alongside the super-hard one/s, which would contain lower level NPCs, for other, easier quest missions.

There would be many quests on this world relating to the battle - including ones where you must retrieve DataPads of dead crewmembers to find out exactly what happened, or to kill off a band of scavengers who have made off with a sizeable amount of important equipment from both the ship andits crew, or to kill certain Imperials and loot items from them. A deed, (or parts for) theAT-PT (or other new vehicle)could be looted here too. Imperials, Rebels and Neutrals could perform missions here from different cities, in different parts of the ship, for badges.

Elsewhere on this world, there are a few large islands, with beach resorts a-plenty, and large cities with secretlyEmpire-hating Bothan spies, and various other people. Afterall, Kothlis is a Bothan colony world.

Star Wars Databank, about Sullust,wrote:

Standing 1 to 1.5 meters tall, Sullustans live in vast subterranean caverns beneath the surface of their homeworld. Sullust is a volcanic planet, with a harsh atmosphere. The underground caverns teem with small life-forms that the Sullustans hunt for sources of food and clothing. The few predators that wander the planet's surface rarely venture underground.

Sullustans speak a chattering language and are known throughout the galaxy as capable pilots and navigators. Sullustans have perfect direction sense and memory, allowing them to remember the paths they have traveled, and maps they may have seen. This sense is a necessity in the labyrinthine caves of Sullust. The people of Sullust have achieved a high-level of technology, and their underground cities are popular among traders who visit the cobbled streets and the wide variety of shops.

During the Galactic Civil War, the Sullustans were oppressed by the massive SoroSuub Corporation. The giant pro-Empire conglomerate disbanded the Sullustan Council, and ruled the planet, enforcing curfews and loyalty among the populace, and thrusting the Sullustans into a cheerless existence. At that time, fully 50 percent of the planet's population owed their livelihood to SoroSuub.

Sullust.
The many vast cave systems of Sullust would make for some huge pirate & smugglerdungeons and themeparks. The underground cities, too, would be huge and underground. On the surface there'd be a couple of starports beside cave mouths, or tunnels burrowing deep underground into the citiesfor instant access to ships.
In the cities, there'd be a great number of Shipwright trainers and trainers in a great many other professions. There'd be a SoroSuub themepark too, and some of its rewards would be the schematic & parts to buildSullustese-style Bunker Houses, or perhaps a combat-oriented version of the SoroSuub Luxury Yacht 3000.
If you go to the underground Hutt Hideout on Tatooine you'll get a feel for what Sullust might be like in SWG.
The lower levels of the caves wouldn't have cities, they'd be populated by large underground creatures. Huge nests of spiders, giant Centipede-like beasts, a giant bats would all live down in the depths below habitable levels, or in long-abandoned tunnels & shafts. Much like the Myyydril Caverns, now that I think of it.
The surface wouldn't be buildable either, or would be limited to 1 metropolis, 2 cities, 3 towns and 3 villages, and only Bunker Houses and similar structures would be buildable.
