Tried World of Warcraft beta briefly, and by trying that out ive become very very fond of jumping
Unfortunatly if i try the /jump emote in the game, which actually kinda works okay - i end up spamming my fellow players with the fact that im jumping.
Would be really nice if there was 'silent' versions of the emotes, so you could piece together your own emotes with /emote, but generally just avoiding spreading that standard text all around.

Simple test...if he's rich, he's merely eccentric. If he's poor, he's crazy.

I learned about Aliases not too long ago, I love them.
I use:
/alias tc /target corpse; /loot; /harvest meat
then /tc targets, loots,and harvests
/alias lox /tell loxorsim (insert your friend with a long name, hehe)
then /lox to avoid mistells
/alias go /target speeder; /pause 1; /mount; /dismount
(could also point to a macro that uses atoolbar slot with the bike in there)
/alias sm /macro 1; /macro 2; /macro 3
when you wanna fire off a series of macros quickly
Also, to those who spam snoring, coughing, waving, standing, etc. to stay online while AFK..... just set /mood none and you won't fill up people's chat windows. Or use /mood tired and the animations when you come back will remind you to take the AFK off your head.
What does the alias do, I don't get it?

For those of you who like to stay online through looping macros, here's one that you can use if you don't want to spam people.
name this macro unAFK:
/pause 600;
/echo 10 Minutes Have Passed.;
/macro unAFK;
When you run this macro, every 10 minutes, you will get a message in Spatial saying that 10 minutes have passed. It will keep you from being kicked off for inactivity, and best of all, nobody can see it but you!

What does the alias do, I don't get it?
An alias is a custom command, more or less.
Say I talk to a wookie friend named Kyylarrwywl a lot, but I have a hard time getting his name correct when I go to do a /tell. What I want is to have a shortened way to send him a tell - an alias can do that for me. I would do something like:
/alias kyy /tell kyylarrwywl
(with no semicolon at the end)
The system will accept my alias and remember it from then on. To use the alias I would do this:
/kyy Hi, how's things?
and the system would recognize my alias and translate it to:
/tell kyylarrwywl Hi, how's things?
Thus, I have a way to send a quick /tell to my friend with needing to type the entire command.
I have aliases for my common hyperspace destinations, such as:
/alias nrw /hyperspace space_naboo_0;
(the semicolon is required for hyperspace aliases)
Then, assuming I did the alias correctly (as I am not crossreferencing the proper h-space command at the moment), I will be able to type:
/nrw
when in space and start a countdown to jump to the Naboo system, Royal Way jump point (hence the nrw abbeviation)
Also, I have a couple to use instead of /findfriend for people I most often want to find.
/aliasleia /findf leia
Not as much a time saver, but still useful, as I will be able to type:
/leia
and get a waypoint to where my friend Leia happens to be at the moment
Hope that explains a bit of the usefulness of aliases

How about a Tuesday Tip, or heck any tip, on what's up with the special color crystals in the village?
The only one that's showed up is Sunrider's Destiny.
What happened to:
Maul's Vengence
Bondara's Folly
Ulic's Redemption
Bane's Heart
Gallia's Intuition
Prowess of Plo Koon
B'nar's Sacrifice
Windu's Guile
Mundi's Response
Strength of Luminaria
Baas's Wisdom
Quintessence of the Force
Dawn of Dagobah
Horn's Future
Qui-gon's Devotion
Kenobi's Legacy
Kit's Ferocity
Bondara's Folly
Ulic's Redemption
Bane's Heart
Gallia's Intuition
Prowess of Plo Koon
B'nar's Sacrifice
Windu's Guile
Mundi's Response
Strength of Luminaria
Baas's Wisdom
Quintessence of the Force
Dawn of Dagobah
Horn's Future
Qui-gon's Devotion
Kenobi's Legacy
Kit's Ferocity
Can we get a little insight about these? Sunrider's Destiny comes from Phase 3's Melee Accuracy quest. Where are the others? When Phase 3 came back around, it was the same old crystal.
Is there something all of us are missing?
Many of us don't want to miss the opportunity to get another color crystal before the Phase shifts in Aurilia again. It could mean another 4 years before the same color crystal appears....if a new one comes out every Phase 3. PLEASE HELP, Thunderheart!
If nothing else, can you confirm these are actually attainable in-game, or if we should all fill out bug reports at this point?
Should Phase 3 Melee Accuracy really only give out one color?
Thanks.
