Thread: RED TIE?
So I get to the last mission and I bstrike3 the vette to get its guns down. After I disable it, the bstrike keeps attacking and takes out the reactor. All that is left is the bridge. The vette is then captured and then all systems restore to 100%. The bridge is still targetable and the only system that is. Bstrike no longer damaging vette obviously as it is imp now. I take out the first wave of fighers and then I realize that they are attacking head on and hitting the bridge. They've already taken it down to 50% by the time I kill them. The second wave comes in and finishes the bridge off and the vette explodes and mission fails. I've tried it twice now and each time same thing happens.
1. Is there anyway to all the bstrike off?
2. Has this happened to anyone else?
I see that Cassie did it solo in her Aggressor using bstrike3 and I'm in a KSE. Am I bugged? Any imput would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

is it just me, or does it not seem to be as maneurvable as the base interceptor?

It might have something to do with the lack of being able to use Engine Overload.

Trying using only Bomber Strike 2 on it, along with 1 SpaceBomb, this is what I did.....ti kept the reactor from taking damage......after that i'd say about 10 waves or so come at you, with 2 out of the final 3 waves having 1 GunBoat with them......it's nice to have space bombs left over for these guys as well, by the time my Vette jumped out its reactor was down to around 25%, its not to hard as long as your Vette's reactor is still 100% when you start the escourt.....btw that TIE looks damn sweet, can't wait to take it into Deep Space, haha
