fixed

Not as much as you would think. Its just that I've been playing for so long...

how much would you say that you play a week?

I have made it a point to play at least 10 hours a week since my namebecame red. On average I would say that I usually play between 15-20 hours a week, but not every week. My wife isn't much of a videogamer so she gets her fair time

The3-4 few weeks I've been playing a lot more though. Last weekend, I probably clocked 15-20 hours just on the weekend because I played all day Saturday and Sunday. I spent most of the time this weekend rearranging my various inventories =P

I also spent a bunch of time searching vendors and traveling around getting new parts formy X-Wing. That character is only up to 3-3-3-3 and I was out looking for sweet components.

If you ever decide to come play on TC for a bit, just send me an in game e-mail and I could get ya any parts ya need

Actually, I choose not to join any guild. The reality is that I was part of a guild, conspiracy theories and crazy claims would abound and it would affect many people. Because of this, I am guildless. The upside is that it prevents any community friction. The downside is that for me to do the DWB, Avatar Platform or other big raids, I have to be lucky enough to catch a group at the right time (which can be tough).

I would very much like to go on raids with community folks, but its a dicey issue and I'm trying to find the right solution for everyone involved.

No way come to chimeara and join JEA (we're rebel, and we're fine with post-cu and have 60+ active members)

So have you gotten in on the Second Great War of Gorath that's gone on this week?

Nope, but I am working on getting my Gorath toon to CL 80

Thanks TH for the response It's really encouraging to see that doing what you love really can play out. You say you spend a lot of time programming? Sometimes the idea of programming can be daunting or dull. As a dev, what do you find yourself doing a majority of the time on a work day? Sorry for the questions, just love hearing insights

So, I used to program...about a million years ago. Anything I do would be considered a light hobby at best. I'm a community guy by trade now
The folks I work with can code as fast as I can type and they really amaze me. Programmers and Designers always have their head buried in code or are in meetings talkiung about the next leg of development. Programming for them is enjoyable, but by no means gets dull. SWG is a very high paced environment.
As far as me? The community team is always working to solve issues. We work with CS, try to answer PMs and help players, get information out, write features and the like. We do a lot of reporting too. We pull info for bug reports, top issues, interact with the community, the correspondents and the devs.
Never a dull moment

What would it take to get a programming job at a place like SOE? I'm by no means the best programmer in the world, but I enjoy it so much that I've never been stopped by a problem that I couldn't overcome. I would love to be a game designer/programmer

Aesherlyn Hadet - Loot Monger
Grimshard Hennessey - Master Engineer
Vehicles, Loot, Modded Equipment, Crystals, Electronics, and More
2268 4795 - Rauha, Naboo
(Winnings can be dropped off at any vendor)

You should try that on TC, tcpa does all a guild needs without the 'friction'

The Shiro Clan of TC -
...has successfully tracked Tiggs
...is still tracking down more bugs
NB: Any comments I make on TC code can and often do change
before they reach live and may not reach live at all, please read my
comments with that in mind.

Exactly what I tried to tell him Red, would be a great place for TH to come play and the double xp is great here!
