Well I think my plant is officially bugged. I have had it since october, and its had slow growth and perfect condition the entire time. It has never advanced to the next stage. I have some friends who got plants in the last phase, and they already have large plants. I did file a /bug report and talk to customer service. I got the obligatory "bend over and take it like a man" cookie cutter response. Anyone have some ideas to help?

I would intentionally let your condition level drop one or two places. Then re-grow it.

You might be caught in a cycle that isnt broken if you keep doing what your doing.

it happened to my largea few times on its way.

I have not gotten my plant yet, but I plan to, so I have been keeping an eye on this forum. One question, does my Yatch count as a private house, as I am using that as my residence.

Can anyone confirm whether each cycle has different needs? I had a nice water/nutrient combination which led to a Below Normal growth when the plant was an Aurilian Plant, and now that it has grown to a Large Aurilian Plant, this same combination leads to a Wilting growth rate.

i don't know if anyone is still reading this thread, but...

i'm having some trouble getting my plants past "normal" growth. i've found the ideal point--growth decreases with the addition or subtraction of food or water--but it's normal at best. i'm using very high quality resources (fungus for the food). what could i be doing better?

thanks for any suggestions you might have.

p.s. has anyone tried to transfer force to a plant?

I have this thread bookmarked, just in case I ever get an Aurilian Plant to play with

I bet a lot of people have this thread bookmarked and am pretty sure you'll get some answers to your question

Good luck with that plant!

Well, I have a large plant that is now wilting, but I have been focusing on other things...

I got it the very first phase of the village back in... September? I think. It grew up within a month and a half, and now it takes 2 months about to get a fruit. I will DEFINITELY try that excel spreadsheet - it's a great idea to record the results of scientific tests on the plant health & growth. Thanks much!

Also, does anyone know if it matters if the plant is next to a window or not? I'm fairly sure it doesn't, but this falls into the hard to measure categories such as singing/dancing/talking/petting the plants... has anyone done any controlled experiments on these variables?

In my expereince, Normal is actually pretty good. At least with my plant. I have never gotten anything higher than above normal.

How often are you updating your plant? It only updates when you load it into the world and hang around for about 5 mins. If you don't see your plant for a week or so, I do not believe it will update very often. Could be wrong on that count, however I do know that you can log in/out every hour to accelerate growth.

wow, and to think... i was discouraged that i could only get my plants to normal growth.

has anyone out there achieved a growth level higher than normal? and has anyone tried transferring force?

thanks,

during village phase one, you can do a medical quest that unlocks the persuasion line. if you heal five patients, you'll unlock the line. if you heal ten patients, you'll receive an ice pendant (+5 combat medicine experimentation). if you heal fifteen patients, you'll receive an aurilian plant.

you can find a guide to completing the quest in SonGouki's jedi revamp FAQ.

good luck!
