I consolidated a lot of useful commands into a single macro so I have more room in my toolbar.

This macro does:
/dismount;
/harvest hide;
/loot all;
/deathblow;
/startconvers;

It spams Invalid target but I have that colorized to dark gray so I don't even notice it.

The /dismount + /startconvers is useful when riding up to Captain S or Paemos to talk to them.

Combat Levels in Groups

While in a group, the combat system effectively sets you at the same level as the highest member in the group. All bonuses based on the difference between the group level and the target level apply.

For example, if the combat levels of a group are: 61, 54, 45, and 80, every member of this group will be considered to be Combat Level 80 for the duration of the group. This does not make the maximum damage of weapons or abilities increase, but it makes everyone have similar level-based bonuses compared to the enemies that the group is fighting.

IMO, not true. If it were true I wouldn't have low level members of the group constantly getting agro from things that completely ignore the CL80 folks. I don't mean some. Everything 10 levels higher that a toons actual level agros on low CL folks even if they're grouped with multiple CL80's.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you

The level system simply blows. Completely. It is totally inappropriate for a skill based game. It encourages social stratification based on numbers. Like the accursed elf game.

There is NO XP bonus aside from being in the group itself for a non level 80 player; all XP is capped at an "appropriate" level for the player, and then of course because you're in a group that has one level 80 player in it and you're level 35 many things aggro to you will con 'grey' on the radar or when you move your targeting box over them, which gives you a very false assessment of how dangerous the target is to you.

My Tuesday tip for SWG is to feed the developers and the marketing parasites who pushed the devs into adopting the level system as a quick fix for meeting a deadline to the sarlacc. As soon as possible.
