This Pass-Through Assisting feature is very useful for pseudo-soloing if you have an alt account and both have combat skills. I've been using it to kill things higher level than me and wouldn't be able to kill alone.

I've got a macro setup that looks like this:

/target ME;
/rootSpecial;
/pause 2;
/crowdControlSpecial;
/pause 2;
/damageSpecial;
/pause 2;
... etc.
/macro ASSISTMACRO;

Then I start this macro up on my account and switch back to my main.

You could go on and on fighting things this way without having to switch back and forth. Just stay on your main combat character, pick a mob to kill, and start fighting. The assist macro kicks in once you make the initial damage to the mob. It works great, and is especially useful if both your characters have scout skills -- you can harvest twice as much organics from creatures! Critters drop really fast.

Forgot to mention that I also have a /follow command so my alt auto-follows all the time.

Is this another attempt to steal a Ranger-only ability?

Actually, we can't use /rescue anymore because the Devs won't fix it.

Yes, the assist is great. However it seems to be broken atm. I get one shot off and then de-aggro most of the time. I have to keep hitting my special even if it is on auto.

It *is* useful to find out who your tank is targeting, though, and then target them separately (without the 'assist') to help them out.

is there any way to make the attack actually damage garva, instead? that would be better.
