Thread: Pistoleer or Rifleman?
Either are a good choice.
Rifleman, you get cover + Snipershot, a nice supirse for your little jedi friend.
Pistoleer, you get the root+ explosive droid combo. Seen a Jedi curse all day in my XP group on Naltalis (Whatever, it's the only server starting with an 'N') because of this little combo. His quote "******* ***** BH! That cheap *** ******* move! I hate those ******* ******!
Concussion nerf? You are silly my friend, concussion got a huge upgrade for all.
Your temp: Concussion + Explosive Droid = Crying opponant that cant do nothing.
Master Rifleman/Smuggler/0-0-4-0 Carbineer: Charge Shot + Concussion + Snipershot = OOOOH that gotta hurt!
Master BH/Smuggler: Underhand shot + Concussion + Explosive Droid = pain.
Master Commando/Smuggler: AOE Weapons + Concussion = They aint do'in nuttin!
Not only that, you can use concussion to heal while your opponant just mashes their keyboard.
Also you can do any warmup shot in the game.

So apparently concussion shot is a good shot, but how much better is it then stopping shot? how long does it last, and does it break on damage? I like the sound of the stopping shot/ bomb droid combo but is stopping shot viable for that?

Concussion Shot is massively overpowered and will be until it is fixed to prevent chaining in Publish 20, it does break on damage unlike Stopping Shot, but with stopping shot the target can still attack and kill the bomb droid before you can detonate it.

Chaining delay is not want makes it useful. Infact I believe my ideas that don't chain delay are better.
Concussion at master smugg is a 40 second Daze = root+delay that breaks on damage. Can you see the potential?
besides the whole jedi/bh thing concissions shot is nice in another way. It can make whole groups irrelivent. A smuggler commando can concussion shot the entire group of enemies, then his buddies can go after the doc/ sl with relative impunity. Its a great tacticle move that a numericaly inferirior force can use to gain a temperory numerical advantage.I actually see stopping shot getting nerfed first and snares so that they breeak on damage, since jedi tend to whine about them more.
