You might be wondering why they keep putting off information. Well i think its a simple answer each day a ton of us gets a bill and if we know CU is right there we are sending them money but if we know that they have information or that they arn't going to tell us anything then we don't come back. They don't tell us anything because they don't have to its that simple. Yes people leave the game but guess what not enough that they care. They will dangle the carrot out there as long as people are out here to complain about it because that means they have u hooked.

While there may be some truth to that, and not meaning to troll/flame, I would suggest a 3.4% marketshare would make them think otherwise. Also, a lack of reported subscribers in some time would suggest a decline. Couple that with the recent (multiple) patches, and I'm lead to believe that they realize there is a problem, and are working toward correcting it to keep/add userbase.
They could wash their hands of the whole thing and be content with the profit they've made in the last couple of years, or continue to improve and make substantially more profit over the next several years. Which business model do you think works best?
What you say makes perfect sense. The only problem i see is when has SOE every gone with logic?

I'm guessingthat the secret wallpaper decoder ring will be in this months newsletter that I never get even tho my email's verfied and Yahoo's spam filter knows to let SOE emails thur.

I never get the newsletter either - and I own my mail server. 
I really wish they'd get the newsletter issues fixed or at least post them online too.

It's probably something else to do while waiting for final word from the dev team/management as to what he can announce and when he can announce it.
If TH's hands are tied, I would love to see some astromech stats.

Been there, done that. Several times over now. I'm begining to think that their just a myth. It's got tobe hard to have a newsletter for something when theres never any news about the game. I'm sure their full of great things that are "Coming soon" to a galaxy near you.
