Funny how the Friday Feature doesnt mention all the bugs in the skill tapes.

yeah. I think it's ironic how there is a friday feature on arguably one of the most broken systems in the game. This is not something they want to bring attention to. Multiple attributes dont stick. Attributes dont stack if you put it onto an already enhanced piece of clothing.

These are all issues that have been in game since... forever. When will they get some loving, 3PO?

Do you people even know how your own damn game works?

Do you read any of the bug submissions that are sent in about these skill tapes on what must be a daily basis?

You're doing more harm than good by posting FALSE information like this.

Lastly in reference to bio-engineer tissues there is STILL a bug where you cannot stack the bonues without careful mixtures. If someone wants to put two tensile resistance into an item of clothing which are +15 stun defence and +4 melee defence then technically the final item of clothing should be +25 stun defence and +8 melee defence. This does not happen as the slots end up overwriting one another, typically the highest value tissue does the overwriting. When mixing multiple tissues which give different bonuses you often find that some of the bonuses are lost, the BE designer has said they are not supposed to do that but isn't able to work out why its doing that(even though he designed the damn thing)

Tal - most of your post is dead on accurate - this paragraph is not. There is no schematic currentlhy ingame that uses more than one slot for reinforced tissues - more than one tissue modded cloth in ONE slot yes - but not more than one slot, which is how they currently add up on a garment.

Do I think they should? Yes, but that was hashed out some time ago and they said it was not meant to if the tissues went into the same identical slot. That's a design issue - not necessarily a bug.

As pretty much everyone else has stated, this Friday Feature is waaaaaaay off in plenty of ways.

If things actually worked the way it's stated in the Friday Feature, then I need a CSR to reimburse me for about 4,000,000 credits in bugged SEAs that I had.

Amen. I'm not one to bring down the devs, since I know how much they have on their plate. However, in this case I'm left wondering what the hell they were thinking. The SEA system is so severely broken its not funny. Why bring attention to it?

Reininop - You forgot the vast number of SEA's dropping with skill bonuses that don't work. Heavy weapons, additional pets, grenade experimentation, etc.

I've had a jacket crafted months ago with + to med use, yes med USE, and it doesnt function, never has. I also have 2

passive biosensors with +4 to med use and I'm afraid to use or sell them as the skill mod is broken. Any word on when this

will be addressed? Last attempt on the jacket was 3 nights ago (2/26).

I am not adding anything that has not been said but I decided to run some tests to see if the Friday feature meant the bugs were fixed and here were my results:

BE Enhanced Shirt with Camo +14 and Maskscent +14 and 3 sockets.

Tape 1 inserted - Camo +7... Did not stack like the new guide says it will. It jus vanished and no socket was used.

Tape 2 inserted - Dodge +2, Creature Taming Bonus +2... Only Dodge stuck and I did not get both bonus to stick like the guids saysit will.

Tape 3 inserted - Pistol Accuracy +2, Cover +3... Only Cover +3 stuck. Same problem as Tape 2.

Tape 4 inserted - Resue +3, Rifle Crawl Speed +2... Only Rescue +3 stuck. Same problem as tape 2 and 3.

Like everbody else has said, the Friday Feature is wrong and most people do not know what the people in the thread know. I can see players losing valueable tapes due to this.

I suggest you let the players rewrite this guide and then resubmit it. I have run many tests on how SEA's work and think I have it down 100%. Surely others have as well. I bet we could make a guide that is accurate to the current system and not the proposed implementation of the system.

Enhancements and attachments would be a great part of this game if they infact worked as they are intended to. I have been slightly upset that this has been over looked by the Developers.Lets all hopethis Friday Feature feedback will help get the ball rolling for fixing the tapes and attachments.
