Some tips:

Necrosis loses interest if you try to pull him too far from his spawn, without attacking. Use this to pull his two bodyguards seperately and dispatch them.

Don't die. Sounds fasecious, I know. But, if someone dies, Necrosis breaks aggro and starts to regen rapidly - many of you will have seen this behaviour with Krayts. Also, when he kills someone his health jumps. He can start at 30k and in a few kills hit 65k (not totally sure if killing is the reason, but his ham does increase by some means - although it can be stopped).

Destory the power cells as you pull Necrosis.

Try to keep root and armour break on him (he can resist both). Ranged professions should avoid spamming - no alternating attacks, and pause between specials. Dots are powerful taunts.

Unless you are absolutely certain you can be within Necrosis' dervish range and stay alive, don't go near him. As I say, he will quickly return to his spawn spot and regen rapidly when he kills someone.

Make use of ranged droids. With the ranged professions holding back, you will need the extra damage.

I'm gonna tell yall right now... you do NOT need Jedi to beat Necrosis.

Sanct guild on Naritus has defeated him several times over this weekend, and the last time we did it tonight, we did NOT have a Jedi in the group.

The key is to have your tank on him, and your ranged guys root him repeatedly. Don't forget to carry along your friendly neighborhood CM and Doc types if rez is needed.

His range is 25m on Area attacks, so as long as you have riflemen or carbineers hitting him beyond that range, the dude is goin down like gin and tonic.

Our group of 8 contained mostly carbine users, BHs, two docs (one of which was also our tank), myself as CM (deuterium toss works wonders), and a single riflewoman.

Took us about 8-10 minutes (who remembers exact time when the adrenalin is pumping)... but it did go real quick.

Actually it took us longer to get back to Kachirho when we were done.

If Sanct can do it... ANYONE can do it... and leave yer Jedi at home.

you need to do the mystical stone quest: gives you an instant transport from the cave back to Kachirho. you get quest from midget guy in the cave village.

If Sanct can do it... ANYONE can do it... and leave yer Jedi at home.

Is this fixed yet? I mean, can I get the quest and complete it now?
