Tired of those smelly Wookiees being the only ones with a special emote, /wookieehug?
I know I am.
So here's a little Macro I made.
Macro Name: RodianHug
Macro's Text:
/emote gives %TT a Rodian hug.
Tips:
/emote - allows you to create custom emotes
%TT - will display the name of your current target.
So If i have BigSmellyWookiee targeted, and i run the Rodian Hug macro, the spatial message will say:
Oreet gives BigSmellyWookiee a Rodian hug.
For a little emote/macrofun while at the cantina try this,
/emote puts 1 credit in %TT's g-string; /tip 1
I made a macro of this and have it on my "social" tool bar. Some dancers like it some don't, maybe it has to do with them being Imperial credits. ![]()
Way back when Doc's were found in med centers I also used this one a lot,
/emote hands %TT his Rebel Insurance card and a 15 credit co-pay; /tip 15
Its possible with the new SL commands and stuff that /abort doesnt work for /aborthyperspace, it might be another command took over /abort[some-other-command]. Ill have to check it out i know before publish 24 i had used it a number of times.

last night and it didn't work. I'm a master pilot two times over and have used /abort many times
without fail - until last night. It nearly cost me losing a space mission but luckily I was hypering
in-system. This was in Corellian space on radiant server - I'll test some more when I get home
tonight.
KStarfire
for a week or two ive noticed /booster and any key bound to it wont work for me, but if i let someone else pilot my ship the booster works fine..
i hope i can get some help here, ive ticketed in game but no responses.
Here is my cool Wednesday tip:
Launching fake missiles in space
Have you ever been in space and totally bored, but wanted to have some fun?
Here is a quick tip on how to do it:
The command is /launchmissile
All you need to do is type the slash command in the chat window or set up a button for your toolbar.
Just target a player in front of you and use that command. You'll see a nice fake missile launching from your fighter and landing on your target. The targetted player will have a nice red "incoming missile alert" on his screen.
Keep in mind though, that abusing this command might lag the targetted player, so please use it with moderation.

It would also be nice to be able to post from Mozilla Firefox.
Click My Profile, click Preferences, and uncheck "Use WYSIWYG Message Editor". That should help. It'll also help if you know basic HTML.

/aborthyperspace is the command that I use. I don't have any hands-on experience with /abort.
I made a macro that is this:
Macro name: Cancel
/dump;
/aborthyperspace;
/stand;
Then i bind it to Shift+ Lwin if i need to dump a macro or aborthyperspace it works in seconds! If im on the ground and i have a afk macro on i hit the afkmacro buttons again and then hit shift+Lwin. this turns the afk off and makes me stand up, ready to do something....
If you have any lag at all on Mustafar, do the following:
Open up your in-game Options menu. On the Graphics tab, disable the following: Bloom, Heat Shimmer, Post Processing Effects, Glare.
Then click on the Terrain tab, and disable "Specular Terrain Lighting."
This can triple your graphics frame rate.
if abort doesnt work anymore just alias it.
/alias abort /aborthyperspace
then just hit /abort
Simple as that
Get tired of running around the inside of the starports to catch the shuttle to your player city? Heres a tip for those that have JTL.
After you buy you travle ticket, turn and open the ship terminal.
Select travel, and then the starport YOU ARE CURRENTLY IN.
Click travel.
Doing this will instantly transeport you into the landing area of the starport saving that run through the halls. This works even on dial up systems because the area is already loaded in your computer. There is no loading screen in most cases, you simply jump outside.

no need to type all that
/abort does fine
Actually, I use /a to abort. Its easier to type when a quick abort is needed.
EDIT: But this might not work anymore. After reading through the posts it seems that pub 24 changed this.

Well that Macro won't work because the first command in it is /dump; which ends the macro.

I would give Master_Mavric five stars if I could. This is a great one, thanks!
