ok, as a pistoleer, i must say soloing a dj can be doen with time and experrimentation.
and before i go on, ch's need to be nerfed, and almost every other class needs a nerf, especially pistoleers.
make NPC's ignore creatures and attack the master just liek EQ, best nerf they can do. knockdown is too overpowered for pistoleer and BH and everyother class that gets it. warningshot needs a nerf.

i personally do not use any type of creature but ive watched people use them and ive helped in groups with them.
all u have to do is pet attack. while pet attacks, run up to mob and spam knockdown, once knockdown connects 2-3 times you have already one. so in the 15 seconds it took for the pets to die was enough time to get abotu 9 knockdowns, and bound to get at leaaast 4 to connect.
here is my elite strat to taking down any mob in this game, and yes i can take any creature in this game 1vs1, lol im killing pubams as we speak on endor.
i find the mob if i can get one solo great if not i check different angles to see if the others will help. once i find my target, i move 64m from the mob. shoot /healthshot2, then /healthshot1, if one misses i repeat till i get a good bleed. depending on how fast the mob runs to me i usually fire a few /doubletaps or /bodyshot2.
once the mob gets within 15m of me i spam /melledefense1. as soon as i notice that the mob isnt hitting me i clear my spam queue. and do this:
/melledefense1 (knockdown), /pointblanksingle2 - this is a macro i have
/doubletap1, /doubletap1 (or any of the special moves i have)
rinse repeat, i put this sequence in my queue about 40times and godo something else for 5mins, come back and the mob is dead ive got 4k pistol xp and 400 combat.
and if i do get 2 creatures at once all i do then is:
target creature1 anduse knockdown macro, then i target creature2 and use the same macro, then i alternate mobs and just use knockdown, neither mob can hit me cause they are stunned for about 10seconds giving me so much time to just alternate targets and spam knockdown and another move, thus killing 2 mobs at once and barely taking any damage.
oh and wheni find a nest of super slow mobs (squalls on rori) i simply see how many there are(lets say 6 squalls) i target 1/healthshot1 and 2, then i target another and /healthshot 1and2, rinse repeat untill all 6 mobs are bleeding to death, the whole time running abit to stay away from being hit myself, once i start kiting the 6mobs i have thelast one still targeted and just spam special moves on it, it dies, then i targetanother and it has about half hp left so i rinse/repeat until all 6 are dead this takes about 7mins to kill all 6 and it gives me1300pistolxp times 6 so about 10000pistolxp in 7mins isnt bad.
this game needs some serious changes. its sad when u can just queue your moves and go watchor somethign for 10mins an dcome back and do it all over again.
so did he kill the jedis solo? i wouldnt doubt it, anyone can kill any mob in this game, if i could target vader, id try to solo him, and sadly i bet i would too.

It looks like a legit fight in terms of not being photoshopped, etc. However the fact that 66% of the pistol shots were able to land on the Jedi is a good indicator that their abilities and defenses aren't right. Very few blaster shots should ever actually touch the Jedi. It's a shame that they are setup to have so many hitpoints to try to compensate and be "tougher". They should have the same number of hitpoints (they are still human afterall), but their defenses should be so insane as to make them virtually untouchable by non-jedi tactics. Hell, how often do two Jedi actually hit each other with their light sabers in combat? They are constantly blocking and parrying and dodging. Usually once they get a good solid hit in, they go down. Even a 75% miss ratio would be too low in my opinion.
But I also think that the Devs have enough on their plates with trying to get things stable to not be overly worried about Jedis being kited to death for now. Especially since there isn't really much of a reward other than the satisfaction of doing them. Hey wait a minute, sounds like doing Rebel missions. ![]()

That would another chat window that continas my group chat and tells. Did not want to show who i talked to for privacy reasons, so i blurred it. No, it is not some l33t hackz as you seem to be implying.
It was certainly a challenge to kill them, but I would agree not a big enough one. It has nothing to do with my beinga CH, but everything to do with crappy AI. If this had been EQ I would never have been able to kill them because mobs in EQ ignore pets and go for their master. They also regenerate, so you don't have an infinate amount of time to kill them. But none of this happens in SWG so I was able to kill them.
Yeah, he did all the damage with his pistol....... the pets didn't do anything apart from 90% of the damage to the Jedi's HAM's.
Lets nerf pistols NOW.

Uhm, I did not mask incoming damage at all. In jedi1.jpg you can see clearly that she is hitting my pets for 2369, 2789, 1618, and 1293. You can also see that my pets are hitting her for around 380. Nothing to hide there.
Also, just for humors sake, here is another pic I found on another forum. Apparently even CSR people have problems gettng into to game ![]()
