im not sure about the crafting side, but as far as the design and functionality goes, the devs showcased the jetpack in action at one of the ingame live events at fan fest. it was working perfectly. the way the characters arms hung down were kind of akward though. /shrug

No problem. Yeah TH is lying big time. 20 servers with like thousands of people an no one has made a Jetpack. I call bull**edit** on that one. Its no different from how they lied about Jedi being in the game from launch. Everyone knowsthe actual Jedi professionswas'nt really added to the game until months later. Watch an see publish 11 will get here an people will start magically looting Razor Knucklers schematics as Jetpack Stabilizers.

If the 5th piece is currently in-game, it does not come from the faction missions. Beyond that, the faction missions themselves are bugged, and it is for whatever reason possible to complete the Rebellion mission withoutgetting the mission in the first placeor even being a part of the Rebel faction. Go figure.

I doubt the jetpack is ingame yet because SWG has a complete loss of altitude and Y axis, etc. From a 3-D perspectivem it's all flat. You can't jump on buildings. You can't JUMP. So flying would just be out of the question. I doubt it will be made until JTL when there is a huge upgrade.

Nope, not even close, demo at fanfest showed the jetpack flying 20-30 meters off the ground, and you can shoot while you fly.

that doesnt mean ingame. it just shows the devs have a working model for themselves.
