I don't know, TH strikes me as the type who, as a rebel, wanders across a player and recognises the name as someone who gave him a hard time on the forums and asks if they wanted to duel, if they accept he goes into Dev-mode, if they decline a Dark Jedi Master appears and takes the player out. ![]()
Just teasing TH.

Actually, I am un-guilded, but mostly so that I remain impartial.
When I go in game, I like to keep anonymous and talk to players about all sorts of things so I can get their raw opinions.

Funny, but no. I'm not a duelist. I like group PvP, cooperative PvE and just wandering around.
And honestly, with all the names that swim past my eyes in a day, I can't keep track of them...except for maybe Barb-Wire and Tanks...

Shame you miss out on a major portion of the game though. Guilds are what hold a lot of people to the game even if they are unhappy about changes that have occured that they normally would have left.
I'd think you'd be able to keep yourself impartial and still be able to belong to a solid group of players who's main purpose is to increase the enjoyement you get out of the game (that and to crush the Rebellion). ![]()
I've got a tip: How about non-Jedi who die in the Galactic Civil War have their default death scream changed to the Wilhelm Scream, the identical scream that sound editors put into every Star Wars movie, i.e. when a Stormtrooper falls off a ledge or gets hit by a rock. I think it would add that nice bit of fun to the Jedi that now dominate this game.
Oh yea, I cancelled my account because being saber fodder and watching the smuggling content I was promised for two years be continually given to Jedi and Jedi-centric expansions isn't very Fun(TM) at all. Good bye.

I think you have hardly a clear idea about JTL, no offence... Your components performance doesn't degrade when they decay. And they decay to 10/10 and stop decaying further (according to Pilot correspondent). The only way to observe worse performance of components if they are actually damaged and not repaired... It guess this may also happen if you enable level 4 droid program and your component is at as low as 10/10 condition.

Special tip for Thunderheart then:
You can open your datapad and double click your ship and see all the components inside the craft. Anywhere, anytime.
But only in front of a Starship Terminal you can Launch or remove / add / replace components.
Yes, but if you do that, you always get the current status of the components.
I tend to fly my ship like a bull in a china shop. After a couple of repairs (especially when its a station repair and not a shipwright repair kit), my components tend to be pretty hammered on.
I prefer to track the original condition of components so that when I replace the components, my ship is back at the original flight performance that I liked.
The way I do it is once I buy a new component, I pull up /notepad and enter in the stats. Then I take my ship up and do a little dog fighting. If I like they way she performs, then I keep the component (and have the original values tracked). If I don't like the way it performs, I ditch the part and take the data off ofmy component tracker.
Then after I've taken a pounding and need to replace my components, I look for replacement parts that have the same or better value than what I originally had. For that I need the original numbers and not the "current status" numbers that would exist on the display at that time (post-pounding
)

so TH, what ship do you fly?
I proudly fly an X-wing (the Starlight Reaper) ![]()
I also have a Y-wing (Rogue Spear) thats set up primarily for support. All the mass has been dedicated to armor and firepower so that I can circle a dog fight and have myself and a gunner provide suppression fire.
