Has anyone checked the coding or whatever contains the names of all the badge locations since the patch?

Maybe they changed it since it's bugged???

Here I was, dancing the night away in a Cantina, when i checked a random guy's bio and saw he had "45 Badges - Master Explorer"!

Ack I thought this wasnt possible. So comparing his bio to mine, I noticed he had 2 more than me. Off I went, and yes its true, I got the Master Explorer badge! Plus one more exploration badge so that makes the total = 46

If anyone wants to confirm this, come see me dancing in Coronet Cantina on Eclipse server......oh and tip me too

You put so much work in comparing to bios and then don't want to tell us which was the POI you had to visitd for the Master Explorer?

Like I said, come see my bio in the Coronet Cantina on Eclipse server. You dont have to believe me, but then you wont get your Master Explorer badge either

To answer your question, I was missing two on Rori:

1. ...has seen a rebel outpost

2. ...has seen an imperial encampment

But this wont solve your problem. The thing is, i know i visited both these places before but for some reason wasnt given badges for them. It wasnt until i compared my bio with this other guy [Ginelus (s/p??) i think his name was] that i saw i was missing 2 from his bio.

I saw a player with 45. I looked at their bio, got screenshots, and counted 44. I continue to suspect the Aqualish bug.

If you got the 45th: Did you do the Aqualish POI before the Rori POI?

If you have 44: Which of the two (Aqualish, Rori) POIs have you done? Have you tried both? Which did you try first?

Umm yes I know you will all point out that ive only listed 44 locations, but I didnt realise this until just now. That must mean i got my Master Explorer: 45 Exploration Badges after my 43rd badge, cus i was able to find another one afterwards also......

C'mon SOE/Dev sort this out please. The exploration badge counter is bugged and thats why people are able to get their Master Explorer badge with only 44 badges. Im guessing 2 of these badges are do-able twice.

FYI, I redid the Rebel Outpost on Rori and the Imperial Encampment on Rori and got both of these for my 45th and 46th (or so i thought at the time) badges. Try redoing these and see if they do indeed count twice. Good luck

It's Feb.15 -- is SOE still not acknowledging this minor bug? It's a minor thing, but the fact that it's so obvious make its bizarre: Doesn't SOE care that it's products have really obvious defects (i.e. bugs)? Most sw companies make huge efforts to at least publish a "known issues" list to avoid misunderstandings with their customers and bad press.

The reason I find this frustrating is that it's unfair: Some players get their Mastery badge and some do not. I'm actually one of those players who like badges, so this matters to me (even if it's trivial). I don't mind waiting 2-3 more weeks, but why can't there be some acknowledgement that this is still broken to give players a clear indication that eventually it will be fixed? It's not as complex as combat or profession corrections. I would think a minor thing like /loc_ID and /badge_count would be easy to remedy and to QA. What do you all think?

The only way to have feedback on this defect is to call attention to it, and these boards do work for that kind appeal.

Fascinating. So we have two players now who have 45 badges, but only 44 listed on the bio.

Like the man says, SOE, kindly unbug at least one badge, or let us know which one was doable twice?

Just wanted to add a point about the Aqualish Cave/Kobala Spice Mine discussion.

I have the Kobala Spice Mine badge, the Aqualish Cave will not give me an Aqualish Cave badge. The interesting point is that I have never been to any of the Rori Badge locations until tonight. I had the Kobala Spice Mine badge from somewhere else. I dont remember where, I remember thinking when I got it 'this is a spice mine?' as it seemed poorly named. I 'thought' I got it at the Aqualish Cave when I first visited it, but not positive and wouldnt swear to that.

So tonight I went back to the Aqualish Cave, still no badge. I then went to the Spice mine on Rori and didnt get a badge there either, and confirmed that I have never been to that location before. I wish I would have seen this thread before I got the Kobala badge so I would have made a note when I got it, but thats not what happened all I know is that I got the badge from somewhere other then Kobala and I thought it was the Aqualish Cave.
