Ok, folks, I see 19 names for Page 16, so let's tackle them, shall we?

Lyons Dyer

Well, I have a friend with the last name (and occupation) of Dyer, so I know it exists, but really, it's a fine one for Star Wars. The Lyons part is a little too French in my eyes. I know people may dispute me on it, but the history of France coincides with this word too often for me to be able to seperate it. From a construction standpoint, however, the matched "y"s really works in a short name, and would love to see a replacement that kept that.

Doriann Kalhoon

Well, Kalhoon is a pretty specific culture, but in this case it will work. The name as a whole has a good symmetry and a good flow.

Caden Basteal

I can tell you put thought in to this name. It is familiar yet unfamiliar, which as I have said is the hallmark of a high quality name. Well done.

Den'o Erth

The only problem with this otherwise excellent name is the lack of Twi'lek constuction on the last name. Since I too like it short and sweet, perhaps making the name Deno Er'th would work.

Eve Stratafyre

Yes, this name works well, and I wouldn't even both softening the "-fire" at the end of the last name: Eve Stratafire looks just as nice to me. Good use of Star Wars naming.

Tine Vasa

Well, it's the Calamari one-name thing again. Please read my comments in other two name Calamaris for more on this. But that being said, the name itself is quite nice, and maybe we can just run it together...Tinevasa.

Raask Rintar

Good first name. I like how you kept the "-sk" sound but made it a original name. Rintar would likely be a name given to him...perhaps the planet where he betrayed his friends?

Revo Mandoo

Hmm, an interesting name for a human, and for a Bounty Hunter. It'snot a blatantly bold or harsh name, so I give you full credit for having an excellent name that does not directly refer to species and profession. Sometimes this just works.

Litzo

Very close to "lizard," but I like it quite well. Short, sweet, we can tell the species, and that is all we need from this one.

Sonan Darmax

The name itself is well crafted, but not terribly musical to say. I feel like I am stumbling over my words when I say this, and if I was introducing you at a dinner, I would have to make sure I said your name under my breath several times before I belted it out in public. You can turn this to your advantage, however, by playing up the inherent (and inferred) awkwardness of the name in various ways, either RP, or simply being a mis-speaker: "Oops, didn't mean to say that."

Raver Lorevannir

"Raver" eh? Well, here on Earth, we'd call that a nickname, and I think it's a little TOO pulling from the shared fiction. Lorevannir looks quite Tolkien-esque (it's not, as far as I can tell, Tolkien) and thus the whole name looks a little off to me. River Lorvenir looks nicer, but wouldn't have the same meaning to you. I suggest you play with it a little bit.

Nesci Corrines

Nesci seems like a good, solid Twi'lek first name, but the last name needs some modification. You could either be adopted by a human family (why not, half the galaxy is!) or simply apostrophe it: Cor'rines.

Coltan Bradwell

Hey, you sell your name short here. I really like how it flows, how it works around itself. While I agree it's a little too Earth modern, you are correct that you can do much, much worse. Coltan Brudwil comes to mind as an alternative.

Zaafirah Mai'sah

I like the bio, and thanks for the nice words. I haven't wanted to jinx it by noticing out loud how low-key the thread has been. I'm worried a dev will notice it and bring the flamers in . Oh, your name. Well, it looks good from here. "Z" names are always a little risky, but the whole name sounds very good, so I would say keep it just the way it is.

Arwes

Short, sweet, to the point. A good Star Wars name.

Choobeccachew

Wow, so many good names on page 16, I was getting worried. I'm sorry sir, but your name is not going to make it. I would suggest a reading of the will. I don't feel I need to explain why this name is neither Star Wars, not terribly Wookiee, and is just not going to work on a 8 foot tall arboreal hunter-gatherer. My best shot: this name likely strikes fear in the hearts of Rebeccas everywhere. Or encourages them to eat their dinner before getting up to play Xbox.

Mavra Lightstar

Have you noticed Jack Chalker is a little, well, not friendly? Fame does that to you. I wouldn't call you on it for this name. As a construction, it fits fine, and that last name fits well withing human parameters.

Fedo Efoh

A great Rodian name, not so stellar from the lekku set. A modification (and slight lengthening) may assist here: Efo'hem, Ef'orm, Efoh'hol...whoa, don't pick that last one.

Ewesta-ethm Po'aka

Well the last name is great, but that first name...wow. Um, well, wow. I keep trying to say it out loud, and my cat, she glares at me. There must be a way to streamline that or some such. How many tells do you get? Not as many as "Fedo," I bet.

A great crop of names, folks. I feel good about SWG after doing a lot of good names.

I decided i couldn't miss out on all the fun...also included a bio

Imperial Security Dossier, PsychOps Division

Subject: Felliono Seade'Rachleya

Unverified Alias: Fell Shadarach

Investigatve Notes: Felliono is a known member of the Seade Family in the Rachleya Clan. Also known as the Shadow Syndicate, the Rachleya Clan is based out of Nar Shaddaa and are rather infamous for their bloodthirsty approach to doing business. Contacts in the Syndicate indicate Felliono was recently sent to Corellia to expand the Clan's presence in the Core.

Note: A recent audit of Tyrenian criminal records reveal a "Fell Shadarach" matching the Seade youth's description being involved in numerous terrorist activities in and around the Tyrenian sector of Corellia. Officials should use caution and be prepared for detailed and violent campaigns to be staged against official forces. Known accomplices include members of a group calling itself "The Dolthar League". Be aware as well that Felliono is a master of disguise and will change his appearance at a whim if he feels authorities are closing in on him. Last known description included a tall bothan male, with black fur, flowing white hair, yellow eyes...however, a report came in recently of an up and coming criminal going by "Fell Shadarach" being quite active within the court of Jabba the Hutt....reports pinning him as a powerfully built bone-white bothan with black braids. We must investigate further and track this fugitive down.

Psychops Special Notes: When last apprehended, the most recent clone of Fell Shadarach showed confusion as to his past and current affiliations. We may be able to use this to our advantage...then again...he may be using us.

Wow doc, this is a huge thread! Congratulations on a great topic, and thanks for all the hard work.

Of course I want to throw my name into the mix as well: Nag Setis, Trandoshian brawler.

I realize now that the first name isn't very Trandoshi, but I was desperate and I grabbed the first reptilian (and non-fantasy) literary reference that came to mind. The second name is flawed by the clear mythological connection, but it sounds more sibilant at least.

BTW, some one very early on in the thread listed "Taren Alexander" as a name. You should have just gone with Gurgi!

I'm glad you liked my name. It is entirely of my creation. I originally wanted Odosou, my mIRC nick that is an optometric notation but it was already taken. I changed it to Odogon just randomly, thought it sounded nice. I made up Magira from "magi".

Thanks Riis

Well, since you are still judging names after a downright silly number of pages I've gotta add mine to the list.

Arronax Zakath - Trandoshan Brawler-type
(Shatterstone is the classic last name for this char, but the filter had issues with it... Probably would have been a Zabrak with it tho.)

Ionia Nightwing - Zabrak Ranger-type
(The last name is almost entirely so I can start "Fly by Night Industries" at some point, which probably says something about me)

Arbarbonif Q. Jones (Esq.) - Human Jedi
(Once/If I open a FSS I may just have to start up old 'Barby. It's a long story, best not to ask...)
