Or purchase my SuperPole 2003. Only made from top resources and experimented to the highest %'s. A proven product.

Someone actually bought one and then walked out to the lake behind my house and caught 2 fish right away on his first try fishing.

was fishing last night on Tantooine. Had a camp set up close by. Then a glitch happened and the camp was a foot under water. so we all stood in the camp and fished. I should have got a screenshot.

Good guide! I'm really surprised as to why some people think fishing is so hard though. I bought some bait on the bazaar once and decided to try fishing and it was really simple. My worm bait only had 5 uses, but I caught 6 or 7 fish before I ran out of bait from the fish taking it or the line snapping. I got really good results by just tugging right and left until I got a bite and when I got the bite I just kept tugging up until it said I had caught something, then I used the small reel and I caught them more often then not. Also, there was something not mentioned in the guide I think is useful. The condition of the bait can be fresh, soggy, or mushy. If you leave it mushy too long it will just disappear I believe so always stop fishing and throw the line out again if it changes to mushy.

This is what I got after about 1 hour of fishing outside my home in Corellia:

1 Bluefish

1 Blackfish

3 Ray

1 Striped Fish

2 Faa

2 Blowfish

I put one at the bazaar, so people could like put it on their wall, but so far, no one bought it..I guess I have to start shouting..."stuffed fish, get your trophy fish here. Claim it as your own, included in the price is my silence about you not fishing it"

Planning more fishing trips tho..Saw some beutifull rivers on Endor, and Talus...oh my...And Dantoine...Naboo..I can barely wait till I go on a galaxy fishing trip.

Hmm..are there water on Tattoine?...Wonder if there is fish there.....

You can put the fish onthe walls of your house and show off the the largest fish you've found.

I tried various methods. Just lettingthe rod sit until a bite usually results in it being lost. I tug up as soon as a nibble happens and I always get the "caught something" then you real in.

Now after you've "caught" it that swhere the ify stuff occurs. I catchoften but retrieve only about 20% of the time.

Here's a slightly more detailed guide to fishing. Following these steps will lead to many more fish caught. 50 pieces in 8 hours is just silly. First, the basics:

1. Pole quality (which you can see now) is important. Try to get as close to 100% quality as possible.
2. Location is important. Don't fish if the fish density (visible after you start fishing) is at fewer than five stars.
3. Vegetation (also on the fish interface) snags your line. I like fishing at 5 stars density, 0 stars veg.

Now some more detailed strategy:

1. The farther you have to reel your catch, the more likely you will lose your fish. I like to walk a few feet out into the water, then TURN AROUND and cast towards shore. I ever fish at mre than 4 m. If you don't want to cast towards shore, you can Small Reel until you get to a good range.
2. Once you have a good range, do nothing. At five stars, you should only have to wait a few seconds for a nibble.
3. When you get a nibble, Tug Left or Right. That will turn the nibble into a bite.
4. When you get a bite, Tug Up. This will change the bite into a Caught Something.
5. That's it. If you followed these instructions, you should catch plenty of fish. Occasionally, you'll lose one, but picking a good location, using a good pole, and keeping your range down will make the difference between one fish an hour and one fish a minute.

Finally, If your character is on Radiant, email me (Maxx) and I will send you a waypoint to a five-star/no-veg location.

yes the fish density is rated. the higher it is the more likely you will catch fish, this does not mean you will land them all but you will catch more. The quality of your fishing pole makes a huge difference. I have a 99% and I can go out with 2 baits and catch 40 or 50 fish and have more bait left than I know what to do with.

I was going to update my guide, but seems not much has changed but the density rating. I have found 1 5 star spot and its catch ever cast.

Once the patch goes in to give us exp in wilderness survival I look for fishing to take on a new meaning.

I held a fishing tourney on chilastra the other night and had a very low turn out for the 175k I gave away in prize money. But Iw ill do it again and hope more turn out next time.

Its all in about having fun

If you do nothing else in game try and have fun.

Why does everyone think fishing is so hard??????? It is actually quite simple once you get the basics down.

Step1-When you get a Nibble tug up (you may have to do it twice but do it as fast as youcan)

Step2-When you get a Bite tug left or right(also as fast asyou can and maybe twice)

Step3-Whenyou get Caught Something do small reel-in (only ONCE!)

Nowyoumust bePATIENT!!!!!!Notall of the time you will get a fish. It is just like real fishing. After you presssmall reel-in,it willtalk about how you are fighting the fish, and weather or not the fish is winning or losing. I was fishingon Naboo and caught over10fish using this method.

If you own a naboo medium all you have to do to mount the fish on the wall is run upstairs, drop the rish next to the railing that goes around the top, target your fish and say /move forward 10 and your fish will be visible from the floor and mounted.

Oh and if you tug up exlusivley, especially when you have a bite, you will catch a lot of fish.
