It has always done this. In my experience, all the camps (except the High Tech Field Base) auto-disband at 50 minutes 32 seconds.

i was only in my camp for approx 30 mins though.

I don't know about anyone else, but I personally would like it if the devs could make it so if you logged out in a camp, the camp would still be there when you log back in. When I'm out in the wilderness and I have to go, I usually set up a camp, because I don't like to just leave my character out in the wild. Maybe the devs could do something where if the person who set up the camp logs out while in the camp, the camp stays up until after that person logs back in. I think it would really help the RP experience. What are other people's thoughts on this idea?

1) Putting up a camp to logout is a good idea because you actually logout isntead of staying there unprotected for a few minutes
2) It doesn't have to stay there, it can respawn when you relogin. The only problem this would cause would be in the calculation in how long its been there.

Be a good idea, and as to how long the camp has been there, simple...you log, you cease gaining xp at that pt. Like if you left the camp, the camp hangs out for a few before vanishing...same idea.

I'm fairly certain that there's a database issue with this, not merely gameplay.

how long will a camp be setup.. i mean for how long time will you earn any survival xp i heard about 20min anyone that has another time range

I was grinding through scout the other day, small camps seemed to cap out in about 15 minutes, 2 person camps did in about 20-25 minutes. I think the big determining factor is how many visitors you get. I set up one outside of the Imp base in bestine and got 620 xp in about 10 minutes with something like 12 visitors. Also I thought that 620 xp was the highest you could get from a 2-person camp, but on a few occasions I got 622 or 624 xp, weird.

Visitors are important, but visitors that need healing is even better. Group and you can max a camp in 5 mins or less if they are injured and are healing or being healed. Sitting is a waste of time and boring. Get in a group, hunt, get some combat xp and then camp for your survival xp.

Can anyone use camps or just scouts,and if they can,would the creator of the camp get the XP when the camp is disbanded?

Only Scouts use camps. Novice works well enough.


You won't get XP for a profession you don't hold though, not like you could drop a camp anyways.

Please can anyone tell me why we cant call a bike/pet without the need for a camp?

I hear this was supposed to be in publish 6 but as you all know its not, please change it atleast to give some comfort to auto storing

If anyone knows when/if this is going to happen please post.
