I knew this thread would turn into this...
Look everyone, the original purpose of this thread was to praise and encourage more creative and fun little things in the game like the fog and awesome music when riding into the village. It helps the village seem more mysterious and really adds to the roleplaying.
This thread was not started to vent about the village itself, jedi revamp, or any other "issues" you think the Devs have.
This is a place for those who are APPRECIATIVE of the cool little music and effects and want to see more of them.
Now, unfortunately we have some people (as we always do) that take the forums to the extremes.
For those who are venting about how "evil" and "manipulative" the devs are, youneed to log off and take a walk somewhere- unhook and experience a little real life and come back whenever you'd like to play a video game.
These devs, csr's, and the guy cleaning the floors are REAL PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND I and are NOT some evil force hell bent on stealing your money and time. Everyone works for a living, and these are their JOBS. They clock out like you and I (except for you schooler's) so please stop with these personal attacks. It's not only UNINTELLIGENT, but is also hurtful to those individuals AS WELL AS people like me who respects anyone who puts in a full day's work.
Seriously people, please stop with the flaming and use common sense before posting the personal negativity. You are MORE than welcome to post CONSTRUCTIVE comments and criticism, that's one of the main reasons for these forums. But nobody; not me, you; the guy who unlocked on his 8th profession; theveteran playerwho hasn't unlocked still; or the people that couldn't care either way, has the right to belittle anyone on these issues.
Please, please, please take a step back and try seeing things from their viewpoint- their trying to do good jobs like you or I would.
Please, stop taking out your frustrations on them.

Oops, ignore my above post. I thought this was the thread I started about the Village having cool music and fog....
Still- most of what I said applies, especially the stuff about personal attacks-
Ankido: Just chill and take a break. Come back in a month or two if you like, or don't at all... it's up to you but don't take this out on SOE who built this game! It's like your blaming THEM for addicting you to this game for almost a year and a half now and are holding back your jedi slot and throwing in this old man just to laugh at you.

Hmm, lemme see, I've been playing SWG for.....a grand total of two months now! Wow, that must make me a long time vet, cause not only have I gotten visited by the old man, but I've already completed one of the FS quests and ground out the discipline, with just five to go. All this leads me to believe that A: You have some personal grudge against the way SOE hasbeen doingbusiness, or B: You lack the mental capacity to play online computer games. My guess is C: All of the above, but what do I know, I'm just a n00b who happens to be able to read a FAQ page.

Just my two cents:
This game can never lack in content . The game is content.This game rocks and Ive been in over 6 months and still loving it as much as the first week. Just proves how much of a loser you are to spend so much time on a forum to a game you hate. Now SCRAM KID!!!! Get back to whatever it was that you were doing beforeyou woke up and wrote this post.

you dont have to do the corvette just themeparks adn the warren then after did all that i did the corvette outta fun and just happened to finish it and 2 you dont have to master 20+ professionns ive mastered only 1 profession and that was 2weeks ago and im alrdy on my way to village (i was off for week cuz of internet bill)
