On this topic also, how does melee defence and ranged work attachments? Could you in theory have cloths that are as good as composite if you had enough defence in them?

Personally, I think you should be "encumbrance overloaded" when buffs wear off and you're in that super stun high resist armor. It should be just like the inventory overload, make you stand in place unable to do anything until you reduce your encumbrance or compensate for it. That would make encumbrance matter a bit more again.

As an armorsmith I'm really disgusted by the number of people that appear around and in my tent wearing boxers without anything else. "oh my pants fell apart" they'll say. Umm.. have you heard of pants?

Sadly no

But it makes me so *sigh* when I see NPC's with %5 or 20% defenses with casual clothing

Yes, people in their underwear is indeed somthing to focus on in this game. Nevermind the billion other more game breaking aspects of this game.

for gods sake there is ALWAYS someone with a "Your whine is unimportant, fix the game first" post

Climb OUT of you own butt you fool and look around. See, people are having a discussion, the only thing that you have to bring to it, it seems, is silence.

I think the problem is that there is no advantage to wearing clothes over armor--indeed, it is a disadvantage. One idea I've proposed is making your running speed/terrain negotiation suffer when you are wearing armor, so that people will feel more inclined to dress normally when shopping or walking around.

After all, armor is supposed to be heavy right?

If only we had a "Social" tab on our character, on which we could "wear" clothes without having to take off our armor. That would be nice...

Graf's uniform is black ubese boots and gloves, black bio engineered pants shirt and bandolier, a purple on black vest, and a black sunguard (soon to be bio eng too). When he prepares for battle, he equips a chestplate and pauldrons of black composite armor. The bandolier is replaced by a lightweight military backpack sometimes, depending on carry loadout.

Haha, noobs. You can't take off your armor cause you can't put it back on? In that case you can't do any specials either. What are you doing, auto attacking everything you fight?

I'm a full time PVPer. The only armor I wear, even while I'm PVPing, is a helmet and chest plate. Why? I don't get hit anywhere else. Everything is either a mind hit, or, if you get knocked down, health hit. You still get hit in action, but I don't think I've died by action incap in 6 months .

Not only that, not wearingarmor saves me a whole stomach from mind food. So Ilook way better than you whilst having my synthsteak, dodge food, accuracy food, vercupti, mind food, and anything else i needwhile you're jacked up on canapes or ahrisa just to wear your armor.

The only time I put ona full suit ofarmor is for high end PVE, and/or monster PVP battles where 20+ people are aiming at me all at once.
