The reason I put poll was to get For's and against's and see which came out on top, I naturally assumed that the against one would.
I EXPECTED people not to agree with it, but knew there would be some that would.
And I don't want anything handing to me for free as I have said already.
It was a test, nothing more.

yes it should have vet. rewards and they shuld also have rewards for another 6 months, SUPER VETS as in 12month players
1year players shuld get 1/2 of the force sensitive boxes already completed and 6motnhers shuld get 1/4 done hehhehe thatd rock 4 me lol

no. the people who have been WORKING to become FS deserve to be FS.... people who just play the game and do not persue this should not be given this, it will just encourage too many people to attempt jedi and the profession will ruin it's fun.
want to be FS? start working for it, no matter how much a person deserves something, it should not be dropped in their lap for being a veteran. I am a veteran and I have been working my ass off to unlock even to the last week of pub 9, because I know that even though it is probably useless, I will keep trying. If I am never a jedi I will not mind, I gave it my all and did not ask for a hand out.

So what about those of us who have been trying to unlock, but havn't yet due to the random final profession taking forever to find. After 20 professions, I havn't unlocked, and I'm just doing what I want to till patch 10 so I can unlock that way.
But I do agree, veterans shouldn't get extra FS stuff

Well i am discusted by how the devs are rewarding those that made the game worse by giving them free unlocks of trees and boxes.
WHat about the rest of us? the ones that kept what was left of the economy ticking over? the ones that communicated to others? the ones that put on events and shows and the ones that helped newbies by guiding them through their first few weeks of swg?
I tell you waht we get, we get delayed important publishes. we get a veteran ship which by the time JTL comes out, the players that started the game at that annoncement will qualify for the ship.
Also our only new content in hte last few months is related to being a jedi, which we didnt want. So what do we do when publish 10 comes out? We will end up doing these tedious FS quests. But wait first we need to qualify. SO entertainers, crafters and medics need to get multiple high end badges like jabbas theme park, imp theme park and the warren and corvette to name a few. I am wondering how these poor people are going to get these badges. because now the devs have given extra bonus points in crafting, healing with force sensitive skills, these people have no choice but to take part to remain competative in their business, it was bad enough that they had to fork out millions to get 12 point experimentation. and where did these millions go? they went to toehrs who dont care about the game that camp certain caves and loot debris just after server reboot and most other times.
So Veteran players get nothing. and the hologrinders that made the game poor get everything.
I tell you devs the game would be much better off without these holo grinder type people. Im sure there are far mroe people that quit because of these than holo grinders if you gave them nothing.

Just a sec RTL3, how can you say i'm trying to hide? do you know me? do you think you know me?
I don't want ANY handouts, I don't even give a fcuk about the free paintings and ships (hell, I gave my painting away for god's sake)
If you'd read the entire post then you would realise that I posted this to see what would happen.........And as I thought, it got jumped on.
People wouldn't give a flying turd if the dev's turned around and said "OK everyone who changes professions in the next three weeks will get the first 4 boxes of their new one filled for free" in fact, for the most part, i think people would welcome it.
As soon as it comes to "JEDI" everyone gets defensive and it all goes up in the air, this post just proves something I have thought for a long time.......This game IS Jedi-crazy, and it causes more arguments and animosity than anything else.
As for "earning things" I have earned every credit and item I have ever had in SWG, as for "earning Jedi" well, hologrinding completely ruined this game anyway, and people have the audacity to call hologrinding to Jedi "Hard work"..............Get real.............pulling a 12 hour shift is hard-work, painting a masterpiece is hard work, playing a game is NOT hard work.
