Hey TH....

Is there any way we can get a sneak peak of some of the resists of the the tougher NPC's involved with the Corvettte? For example, what is the Heat and Acid Resists on the Super Battle Droid?

The only reason I ask is that lately some of the new NPC's to come along associated with various new missions/labs/caves etc. have had fairly high Heat& Acid resists...which pretty much make Commandos fairly useless, even grouped, participating in them...Us Commandos would especially love to know the Heat and Acid resists...

Also, will the new patch to allow our Consumable Heavy Weapons indoors be put in before this goes live? If the main part of this will be conducted on the Corvettte, it would be nice to be able to use our Consumable Heavy Weapons...

Thanks again...

You can get a sneak peak at this if you load up Test Center and check it out. I haven't been there yet but since I just recently got some new Wookie Armor - I think I might try to get a group together and have some fun

Tressawrote:

If you go and fail can you retake the mission and try again? Or is it a one time win/lose deal?

You can take the mission as many times as you want.

Really, really cool looking! Some of the screenshots are a bit too small though, and the text is tough to read.

I also have one question: Will Rebels and Imperials be able to do the neutral quests? I was under the impression that they could, but oneneutral mission requires you to kill a rebel. Are rebels allowed to do this? Why did you choose a factioned enemy for the neutral campagin? IMO, he should be changed to a nonaligned NPC.

So where do we start the quest to get there? I wouldn't mind checking it out.

This is very insensitive of you, SoE. I don't think the united states has had enough time to heal from the tradgedy of 9/11. Terrorism is one thing, opening new wounds up with "crashing a ship into a building" is another. My parents were killed in 9/11 and this pains me to read now that you're adding such a thing into the game.

Some added info on the corvette for those who asked Some minor spoilers here so skip this if you want to be totally surprised and find this all out on your own

- If you log off or "completely leave the game world" then you are returned to your departure point upon logging in. This is good in a couple of ways. First, there are only so many instances of the Corvette allowed at once, so it keeps people from "hogging an instance". Second, you can leave the Corvette at any time via the Escape pods, but many times its not fun getting to them. So, if you ever get frustrated enough to want to stop, you can just logout and log back in a few minutes later back where you left. The only thing that makes this bad is that if you get disconnected and don't make it back in 10 minutes or so, its back to where you left.

But, considering you can use your ticket to do the quest at any time, and you only have 1 hour on the Corvette anyway, just plan accordingly before you go so that you won't have to log early.

- As for where you start the quest. Each side(Rebel, Imperial, and Neutral) has 3 unique npcs at different locations throughout the galaxy(so 9 npcs total). Factioned players can only do their side and the neutral side, neutrals only their side. Each npc gives a unique mission to do on the Corvette, and the npcs(not the droids) look different based on what side you go up on.

To get the ticket, each NPC will tell you an item they want you to bring back for them, then give you one of 3 possible locations for where you can find this item. In two of the locations will be a fake item that just gives you FP when you return it(100), in the third location is the real item. Which location has the real item is randomly picked, and most of the places you have to search are the older minor POIs and dungeons(Janga stronghold..yes the container has something now , crashed ship on Dathomir, etc.) And yes, once you are done with the Corvette, you can go back to the same npc and try for a new ticket or get one from the other npcs for a slightly different mission.

- The dungeon is very very hard and while you can try it solo, you probably won't make it a third of the way into it alone. Groups are also limited to 10 people total for the Corvette trip, so you'll want to plan your groups well, a good mix of professions is really helpful

- If you die on the corvette you will clone in the room you start in on the ship. However, since you can't store your clone data there, you will take the wound and bf penalty each time you die. You also can't be rebuffed by doctors/entertainers on the Corvette, so bring a lot of food and spice as backup

- Unless they have changed it recently, mobs do not respawn on the Corvette unless the person who used their ticket dies. So, keep the person whose mission you are on alive.

- Finally the loot is all very neat. The new vehicle looks and sounds great, and is a landspeeder type vehicle that is almost as fast as a swoop but also is better on hills than the swoop. The other items(like the rifle) are neat and will all have their place, but the vehicle is the best reward. Which reward item you will get depends on which side's missions you take, but, since the vehicle is the top prize , it is gotten from the Neutral missions so that anyone can attempt to get it.

Hope that answers anyone's questions that they might have regarding the new dungeon Oh, and if you are coming to Test Center to try the dungeon, you do not really want to go up there with a new character(or even novice combat skills) you won't see much because you won't survive more than one step out the first door on the ship
