no, medic is one of the most important skills you can get, regardless of profession, get it up to at least 2/0/0/0 medic, that way you can take off those nasty bleeds from nightsisters, and with some 415 power 5 med use stim b's, those can ALWAYS help, PvP, PvE, everything, so for 18 skill points to basically save your *** when you get too far over your head, is fine with me.

I, for one, have no medic skills what-so-ever. We are out there, just few and far between

Medic is pointless if you are a high combat class. If you really need that desperation heal to escape, take some spice or food and burst outta there.
I'm TKM, MSmuggler, Pistoleer. Medic is pointless for me. First I never get hurt enough in PvE and even if I did I can use FD. In PvP, stimBs will only give you back half of a hit from another elite profession before you go down.
Poping stims in the middle of a battle is pretty unrealistic anyway. Only docs, cms, and droids should be able to heal someone engaged in combat, not the combatant.
You just wait untill the combat rebalance, I don't think you will be quite so L33T. Sorry I just couldn't help myself

Yeps, we are here. I used to be a novice medic back in the days until one day I suddenly realized I hadn't used a Stim in ages. My pet was taking all the damage and I just tried to stay clear of everything and just shoot away, and when the pet is low I just use a Pet stim. So Nov Med was sacrificed for something more usefull. Now I think about it I didn't (and don't)use armoureither. Now that my specials drains more than just mind I'm thinking about taking up Nov Med again, since I don't want to head back to a mayor city for buffs all the time.
