1. get an at-st, group with it, you can still pull 30k mokk/janta missions alone

2. group with someone who has an at-st.. 15k/mission is still pretty darn good

3. be master ch, group with all your pets, pretty sure this pulls at least 20k.. throw in a droid or faction pet too and you'll get the 30k's

i get roughly 100fp per mission, so it'll take maybe 10hrs work (humans) to get an at-st depending on your skills.. even 20hrs isn't too bad if you think of how great it'll be to pull 30k missions again..

Or you can go to the faction battleground on Corellia and get an AT-ST in maybe 3 hours. Imperials never go there, only rebels, but it spawns NPCs of both sides.

XP.

Agreed, sologrouping for money is not smart. You can still get good XP from them though.

"Going solo,I used to finish 25-30 Janta missions per 3 hour buff session. With 8 people, the group finishedjust over100 missions in the same 3 hours."

If you had 3.25 hours to run 100 missions that would mean a mission would be completed every 1:57. If you had 8 people in your group, that's 16 missions at a time, meaning you would have to return to the mission terminals 6 times after the intitial visit. I don't see any way a group can finish 30-33 missions per hour given the need to return and get more missions. Not trying to give you a hard time, but since we are talking about the earning potential of missions. I would be interested to know how many missions a group of 8 could really complete in 3-3.25 hours.

Absolutely... and it's the only way to get the highest difficulty missions to max out the # of creatures per lair

Faction missons 7-8k per misson if your a master profession you can complete 2 under 3 minutes. Do the math thats 14-16k every 3 minutes. The thing that takes the most time is actually getting to the misson. If your a smuggler 12k a misson if you slice the terms and the misson doesnt get any harder then the 8k missons so. Its quite simple and fast just destroy the lair and take off dont bother with the guys.

You need to pick missons in the same direction so there only about 300m away at max.... I timed this all out it took me 1 minute and 30 seconds to get to my first misson, 30 sec to destroy lair, another 30 seconds to get to my second misson, and 30 seconds to destroy only the lair on the second misson. If you can read this then you can make somewhere around 100k under an hour if yourn ot slacking around and talkign to guildies like i always am. I got cought up in an arguement with a guildy so I didnt have time to figure out how much money you can actually make all around i just do it for an hour of buff then go lvl up. Also always get buffs that last for at lesat 3 hours because faction npc's are weak and dont dmg you that much anyway.

what i do is faction grind. we have several base complexes in my galaxy and i just spend one buff session a week there. i can easily net 15k of faction per buff session with tk which at 100cpp is 1.5 mil. also you can make about 100k in just looting and you'll often loot things that are worth lots of cash. I once came out of a faction farm and in one buff session i had 15mil worth of faction, AA, and DOT weapons. Just have 80% kinetic and at least 65% energy/blast armor full buffs brandy and a neutron pixie and a moun in case of emergency and you'll be fine.

Get a buddy that has an at-st. Group with him and his at-st, grab your missions, then disband. Group with him everytime you need to grab new missions. 52k cash per run and no loss to solo groups.

You guys really need to get out more. There are many more and much better ways to gain xp than to solo group. You're working too hard. If you're not getting 130k xp per lair and at less of a risk, you're missing out.

ONE thing i'd really love.... that they fix the mission sh*t... I can solo 8 enraged bull rancors at a time and have a cup of cocoa while i'm doing it... why is it that i have to group to get those missions to show up in mission terminal??? I fail to see the logic... perhaps SOE should think of adding "buffed" to the parameter for which missions you can get, and for the con thing... that'd really be a nice fix...

That would be nice, but I doubt they'll waste the time doing it since all of that stuff will be changing with the Combat Upgrade. Buffs will probably be much weaker and our strength versus creatures will change some. It would be a nice fix in the meantime, but I bet they are too busy working on the new stuff to devote coding time to that.

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

Oh they are going to fix it, you can be sure of that... It's called the combat upgrade or CU.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if after the CU it took a group to kill one of your Engraged Bull Rancors.

We are going to see armor nerfs, probably weapons nerfs and certainly buff nerfs.
So, what would the point be to publish a change now that lets us pull high level missions when the CU will reverse it anyway?

So , go out and solo the NS Elders now and all the other high level mobs while you can because it won't be long and we will all be saying things like remember when you could solo a Krayt Dragon etc.

this solo group nerf really affected the poor people like me,people who never bothered to money grind or take up crafting, instead even while master i hunted in a group, looking for a challenge (i and all others were unbuffed) its come back to swat me in the face thanks SOE,i always money ground only when i needed it,if i needed some food or to pay maint, now the group nerf came around and BOOM,i can barely keep the funds to pay maint (SOE PLEASE LOWER HOUSE MAINT WITH THIS NERF) so,is there any other way that can net me at least 100-150k an hour?at all?i used to do a single buff session,150k an hour with jantas (yes,i took my time) getting 450k per session and letting that hold over what i needed until next time...is there any way that wont turn me into more of an anti-grinder tat could help me with this? thanks for any help..sorry if theres already hundreds of posts like this also

smuggler can hack mission terminals

CH

Run harvestors

Exploit.

Those saying shut it, you are a bunch of snots. It is a valid question on how to make a reasonable amount of credits as a "combat" profession. The nerf is dumb because it was a method for people capable of doing lvl 99 missions to pull those missions. They made it impossible for a solo player without pets or exploits to get lvl 99 missions individually, which is why solo groups started to begin with. Instead of fixing the real problem of mission difficulty and pay not being appropriate as they intended them to be they just wacked group payouts, further pushing people to solo the game content. This team is headed in the wrong direction.

I never hear of rich people complaining. If its to hard to make credits doing what a combat person does no one will play and they will come here to beef about payouts. To just get by in the game should be 2 missions. If you feel like you can't afford weapons, armor, buffs, food, maintanence and travel and that its to much IRL work to make money you wont play. People shouldn't have to worry about money. To fight inflation they should have put a hard cap on the amount of money 1 person could earn a day.The problem really wasn't peoplerunning 32k missions. It was people running 32k missions to the tune of millions of credits. My two cents.

Still 20k missions are very good and I highly recommend you seek those out.

Uh just a little word of input from the smuggler community... Slicing mission terminals is nice, but its not that much of an increase. Also some of us just don't get any enjoyment out of grinding for cash... its just not worth it. I shouldn't be bored to tears with a game that I love playing just to make some cash, there are other ways. I started a good quality loot vendor on Dantooine, that made some good money. If you're a smuggler, do whatever it takes to get to Master (so you won't have to deal with people's whining, lol) and just stand in a crowded starport for a few minutes... also Fort Tusken is a good place to do slicing sometimes because people have containers, weapons, and armor they need sliced.

My dancer has some limited polearm skill but is not a combat player... She's also on a heavily newb-populated server so cantina tips aren't always enough to get by. The bazaar is also rather lacking at times. I found that taking advantage of oppurtunities to get unique loot items (wookie life day, sean trenwell painting, wanted posters, loot kit pieces, etc) can pay off. She made 250k off a wookie patriarch painting that practically (in RP terms, lol) saved her life. If you're not a dancer but you have even basic medic, buy yourself a few medpacks and camp out at a medical center on a planet/city where there's alot of wound traffic but not too many docs. People are very generous when it comes to tipping for wounds as opposed to entertainer tipping (a generalization that doesn't apply to everyone, of course ).

My tailor seems to have the hardest time maintaining an income. Again, I don't like mission grinding, it kills the RP experience and makes the game tedious for me so I have to find other ways to make her money. Tailor can be expensive and clothes don't sell as well as you'd think if you're not a master with enough money to maintain a factory, a shop, a vendor, and resources. I've found that in a pinch, the jubilee wheel seems to be helpful, lol. Don't put your life on it, but it can make up for some of that extra income if you need it fast. Plus its fun for roleplay.

This is all just a matter of opinion really... Just wanted to throw in some options other then grinding.
