/sit;
/pause 2;
/logout;
/pause 35;
/quit;
this will log you out and quit/shut down the game.
keeps you from crashing too.Or easier still use Shift+Esc... and hit logout .. and it will quit the game, without having to wait... ((you can also use it to switch characters pretty fast.)) (use disconnect instead of logout though)Message Edited by Xanamiar on 12-21-200407:02 PM

This is just a quick rundown of some of the more interesting features of chat available in game.
[snip]
Talking in spatial so only one person can hear you
Like above, you can type /whisper>*target* *message*
The target will see the message... Everyone else will see "Jane whispers to John". Great for roleplay again, also fun to poke fun at 3rd parties
[snip]
beware, using this feature.. thereis a third party program out there somewhere that can allow a person to hear all directed whispers and lekku talks.. I recommend using tells or groupchat to assure your privacy. Don't ask me about the program btw, I have no clue what its called.. just that its out there.

Sorry Mentalbug, but you'll need to actually type the > sign each time you want to do this, there's no way to macro it.

To get things out of a droid without calling it, drag the item into a spare toolbar. When you want it back, click the icon. This is helpful for storing armor in a droid so it doesnt decay.
Doh maybe i should have read down before i posted this

Don't know if it is common knowledge but I was quite surprised when I found out that by typing
/abort hyperspace
you can cancel the hyperspace calculations. But beware, the nava computer will be unavailable for about 30 seconds after the abortion.
Acutally, you can just type /abort Quite useful since it does not work from the hyperspace menu
