My boyfriend and I are going to be attempting the rescue mission in a few hours... We were going to try the duelling method to get agro off of me so I can talk to the prisoners. Unless he dies, then I'll let the mobs kill me and use my hero ring. About the hero ring though, does it have a timeframe it has to be used in, like the timeframe you have to be rez'd by a doc before your "body is cold"? I want to know how long I can wait for stuff to walk away and leave my corpse without being unable to use the ring (if it has a limitation like that).
Thanks

No, it's not a bug. From the rear, the only systems you can attack with line-of-sight weapons are the engines. And you need to bring down both shields before you can attack the engines.
If only there was a weapon that could shoot around corners.. hmm..

Does anyone know if the mission-spawned corvette for the Imperial Guard Interceptor counts towards the Master Pilot mission if you destroy it?

The mission title is "Destroy an Imperial/Rebel Corvette in Kessel"

Aye and the rumor I've heard is that corvettes in Deep Space also count, hence the question.

erm... you can't get into deepspace without being Ace (and thus having already blown the Vette), so whilst this rumour may be true, there is no way of ever proving it.
I think someone been telling you porkies

Go as a gunner on a VT-49 is what the rumor said. Never tried it myself.

I've also heard the rumor.
Problem with the Crimson TIE mission is that you do not kill the corvette, so the only way to test it would be to destroy your mission target and fail the mission. The Rebel Vette in Kessel and the DS Vettes certainly aren't all that much harder, so what's the point in trying to use the Kash corvette?

Actually you need only be in Kessel as part of the group that gets credit for the kill of the corvette.

Being able to spawn it on demand.

Actually you just need to be in Kessel with the mission when the 'vette is destroyed. My friend and her group were late to the party and when the group that got there first blew the thing up, she got her badge. She never fired a shot, was not in the group that did and she was over 6K away when it exploded. I kid you not. I was both incredulus and dumbfounded, but the master pilots who were with her swear that it happened jut that way. This happened just 4 hours ago.
