I think that one the coolest thing they could do if to put the combat sistem while in a ship , just like in a normal simulation game. And also that if you have a normal ship, and in the middle of the space, you find a huge star destroyer, you could atrackt to it and them raid the ship (if you can), and also they could set up some space deallers (big space plataforns that we could go and trade things). ![]()

Ahuge (nuetral) ship that people can land on (will be considered a planet) and hunderds of rentable rooms (and can be like a home ,maybe useing 1 lot) . A huge mall(s) where we could rent a shop we could place vendors. i'd also liked to see a big casino with many more types of ways to gamble and high stakes alowed. multiple cantinas inside the ship and ea cantina could have a radio station and we be able to craft radios. and place them in our houses. ************rent: like how we pay matinence but a higher cost so not every one will have a home here*****************************************************************************************************
Id like to see some sort of attacks by pirates (maybe?) on this and we could defend it from space with our ships.****** inside while theres attacks on the ship all light would turn red and some sort of siren ********
maybe raids/investigations by imperial forces.

Cool Idea WillbeaJedi..if you remember try to save this idea as we get closer to Space Expansion. Hopefully someone on the team is watching this thread and will consider your idea if they haven't thought of it already.

Yay! Someone has a new idea!
Yeah, we really do need these things that have been previously said. I know it may seem redundant, but I have a few ideas.
Some people have stated the game to be like Tie Fighter, Xwing, and the other Space (flight) Sims, which is a great idea, but not too logical. Just think: I hear DSL users complain when there is a lot of eople in one area. What would it be like in space with multiple people? The effects, the dog fighting..it would be too much for the average computer with standard internet connectivity. I think a system like Star Trek: (Star Fleet Command I think is the name). Well, its the one where you see your ship, can put it on alert, move it, attack with it, etc wth a 3rd person view. You can also have the option of going into the ship to walk around and such, or just watch space from the cockpit. Personally I dont like this idea because the Battlefield 1942 idea sounds much much better...maybe have an option of what to choose? I dont know...lot of stuff.
Incorperating all of the crafters is a must. Otherwise there will be a universal depression as noone will want to be other professions in favor of the Pilot.
For Classes, you should have 2. The Pilot and the Starship Engineer. The pilot's 4 tiers will include Piloting Experience (Speed for ship and ability to have a transport service), Gunning Experience (Be able to be more accurate or more powerful with gun emplacements), Systems Tweaking (being able to push the ship beyond its normal capabilities at the cost of durability or shields. In Xwing, like mving shields from Back to front and stuff like that), and Combat Manuvering.(Mainly for single pilot starships, like xwing and tie fighter. Makes for craft more nimble, better turning radius, better computer tracking systems) The SS Engineeer: Hull Craft (Can assemble hulls for space going vessels, though needs most components from Architects), Shield/Armor Craft (Ability to make better armor and shields for the ship. Needs Armor craftor for most components), weapons craft (The same as armor, but components from weapon smith), tech craft (Better computers for tergeting, better hyperdrive/sublight engines. Components come from the D.E.). Everything slicable, but beware of Imperial boardings.
And you need missions for the pilots. Smuggling (delivery), Passenger Carting (delivery), Blockade Running (delivery), Dog Fights (destroy), and Escort missions (delivery). Of course there should be battle areas where you choose sides and fight.
What should happen if you die in a ship? maybe a new place called the salvage yard? Ord Mandell as a new planet? For a price, a steep one, you could get your ship back with like half durability and such. It would suck, but death normally does. Of course, instead of being incapacitated, you can have "crippling". Your ship's systems go offline, kind of like incapacitation, but you can still move in you ship to get your stuff working again. But instead of it taking until a HAM bar reaches zero, well placed shots could do it, but it wont kill you. Kind of making use of moving around the ship: have to find the broken part. A skill of the ship Mechanic?
Well, thats just some ideas. Feel free to comment on them, or improve, as I pulled it out my bungalo just now. Have fun, and may the force be with you.
I'm a very poor Rodian, How will i ever afford a ship and pay for fuel and such???!!! please answer what u think if you care : )
