Thanks, very nice....good to know what to expectI'm up to Gursan atm just before her first space mission, and was wondering if it can be soloed (destroy leader but actually he escapes and lands in Etyyy)?
So you know, Lord Hss'kas who spawns in etty is CL85 and attacks with ranged weaponry...so I wouldn't say its really that soloable short of being the J word.
I solod it by getting him to attack me with an AOE shot, which aggrod a ton of spiders onto him.
Oh, and I'm not a Jedi.

Ok dumb question time - I've gotten to the part where I have to find and kill Hss'Kas (I read that as 'kill his a*s' first time I read it. lol). I've never been into the Etyyy hunting grounds before -I did the quest to getin (and got a nice Bantha hunting throphy for my trouble)- now, do I need to do any sub-quests to get access to the place/section within the hunting grounds where Hss'Kas spawns (it seems that when I go to go down the small valley with the river in it there are some big boulders blocking my way).
Any ideas?
Once your in the Hunting Grounds you should have access to all areas (other than the instances of course). Pull up your overhead map and check the terrain....you may not be able to have a direct route to where you need to go. It's one aspect of the hunting grounds that gets annoying......on foot and having to loop around areas to gain access, etc.....
I have not done this particular quest yet but I have killed the boss spider deal and I believe this is located at the same general spot. It takes some path manuevering to get to the location (not a direct line).
Good luck.

I can't seem to find the blackscale camp on the weaver level...either that or I don't recognize it as such the closest thing I see is a bunch of wildwookies standing around some huts. I've run all over the map looking for the camp if someone could give me some coordinates or tell me I'm looking on the wrong lvl or the wrong dungeon that would be great thanks
I don't know if this is the right Blackscale camp your looking for......but if the blackscales on the webweaver trail are what you want........
When you come up on the wookie camp from the trail and it appears from the overhead map that thetrail sort of turns back on itself back to the left, away from the camp...........instead go THROUGH the wookie camp, straight back, to a small trail that leads back and down to the left. Blackscale camp is there. About 6 or 7 Level 80+ Blackscale. So basically behind the wookie encampment you keep seeing with all the wookied standing around huts!! ![]()
Good luck.

Rroot is back of the camp where you looted the radio.
Ahhhh, thanks.
Well, I can bonzai down to that camp np, and get into the camp np, but I will then get incapped. If I get incapped right next to Rroot will the NPC's then leave me alone or do you pretty much have to kill them? Which if you do need to kill them means this is pretty much not solo'able but us non-jedi types with no good root or concussion shot. Ugh! I was able to get the radio on my own by bursting to the radio, getting incapped, and then getting the radio before they finally killed me and put me in a stew pot!

Not very easy, but soloable:
Run into the camp with all your def buffs/food up. Get incapped next to Rroot. Talk to him, run back out, get the codes from the wookies, run back in the same way, talk to him, wait for guards to spawn and then lure them in one by one or sometimes two. You might have to kill some other trandos apart form the guards until you can pull them. All depending on where they are standing.
I'm MPikes/MTKA/0440Swords/Mbrawler. It's not that easy, but doable.
Thanks for all the input everyone. I will give this a whirl.
I can normally handle 1 or 2 Level 80-83 NPC's but if I get 3 or more on me it gets challenging. I just don't have the defenses to maintain that battle for long. Even though I am Level 80 I get there through Master Rifleman/Master Ranger. Ranger takes up so many points, needing to have all of Scout, that it leaves no room for anything extra. So, while I can dish out some good damage as a rifleman I am pretty slow and little to no defenses as compared to some other prof combos. Plus, I have no root shot or concussion and my snare shot is pretty much worthless.
I will bonzai in and see what I can do. I know this would be easy if I grouped with a few of my buddies but part of the great challenge is seeing if you can solo some of this stuff in the post-cu environment. Obviously something like the Avatar I can't solo, those are clearly designed for groups, but missions like this assuming you can plan and use your brains, etc.. should be manageable...particularly if you don't HAVE to kill everything.
Thanks again.
