I'm up to Gursan atm just before her first space mission, and was wondering if it can be soloed (destroy leader but actually he escapes and lands in Etyyy)?
Just a couple of minor clarifications and things you didn't mention:
- you may have to kill more than one feral wookiee to get the code to free Rroot
- the webweaver spiders that spawn before the trando guy in Etyyy tend to move REALLY slow, you can kite them pretty easily
- there's a 30 minute timer on the blackscale compound
- when i disabled the locks in the blackscale compound, I swear I received a comm message (space-style box on the left) with Gursan telling me to kill 15 of the wookiees in there or something. We were out of time at that point but I guess it doesn't matter if you do that or not because I still finished the quest and got the staff etc. And of course those comm messages don't show up in the chat log so I can't confirm exactly what he said. Anyone else get this?
- there's also a timer on the big space mission at the end (which I still haven't completed), I think it's 30 minutes
All in all it's a very fun series of quests. Everything up to the blackscale compound is soloable, I went into the compound with a few other jedi, one cloaker to draw all the agro, two of us killed the Warden and then it was just a matter of running around with avoid incap for a couple minutes. The big space mission is awesome, has that real Star Warsy space-battle feeling to it. I'm almost glad I haven't finished it yet cause it's a fun fight. Kudos to the devs for actually getting something right in this game (although we had to wait for how many bug fixes before this was playable?)
It was really great of the Dev's to put such a cool quest into the game but what I don't understand is why they would go through so much trouble making this quest and only give out crap rewards. It just doesn't make any sense at all but then again, it is SOE. I am starting to think that there must be a side quest in it that may give out the legs but with only 30 minutes, it would be impossible to do it.

So you know, Lord Hss'kas who spawns in etty is CL85 and attacks with ranged weaponry...so I wouldn't say its really that soloable short of being the J word.

I solod it by getting him to attack me with an AOE shot, which aggrod a ton of spiders onto him.
Oh, and I'm not a Jedi.

Ok dumb question time - I've gotten to the part where I have to find and kill Hss'Kas (I read that as 'kill his a*s' first time I read it. lol). I've never been into the Etyyy hunting grounds before -I did the quest to getin (and got a nice Bantha hunting throphy for my trouble)- now, do I need to do any sub-quests to get access to the place/section within the hunting grounds where Hss'Kas spawns (it seems that when I go to go down the small valley with the river in it there are some big boulders blocking my way).
Any ideas?
