I personally tip two credits per fatigue and wound healed... BUT, I only tip the first entertainer that greets me or does a social interaction to me. If you don't greet me, talk to me, or help me pass the slow time away as I heal... don't expect a tip from me.

I also go to Hotels now instead of the cantinas as I can heal both my physical and mind wounds at the same place.

Yeah, you'd have to figure the Devs spent a bunch of time fixing any exploits that allow nude players..

Could certainly help the tipping business though.

I tip all the time.
Up to now exactly one entertainer showed any appreciation.
Most times I am completely ignored when trying to communicate with them (when they rest).
Entertainers are the most rude unfriendly folks I met up to this day.

Amen. I still tip. But it would be nice if the entertainer at least acknowledged you. Even the piano man at least gives you a nod when you put tips in the jar.

<sarcasm on>Yeah Midnightflame, how dare you voice your opinion concern on these forums <sarcasm off>

It amazes me the people that come on these boards and take everything so personally and then feel like they must belittle everyone...I am going to make an assumption that those that do have work from home jobs and don't get out to socialize with others very often.

If the poster has this concern they have every friggin right to post it!!!! Get over it you guru's of the forum boards that think everything that is written has to be in accordance with the way you think and feel.

SAKH!!!!!! Get a life!

I look at tipping this way- as an Artisan I don't use scripts to sample resources and I don't let my computer "play for me" while I'm away, so I don't expect an entertainer to sit there AFK playing music or dancing. AFK = NO TIP.

If you talk to me or entertain me, then I will gladly tip as much as I can afford at the moment, be that 50 creds or 1000.

Mission are just too easy not to tip entertainers / medics. I have upped my tips to 300 - 1000 creds just to help out these poor people.

Also, does /Cheer & /Clap really increase the xp entertainers gain? I use a /Clap; /Cheer macro, just wondering if I'm wasting my time.

Tips are awesome! I never expect one tho. I always make it a point to thank whomever I see giving me one. But PLEASE bear in mind in large bands the spam scrolling on my screen makes it hard to see the tip message. If I missed you I am truely sorry.

I do have a suggestion for the entertainers out there. If you must ask for a tip, designate ONLY one person in the band to do it and make it an entertaining request. When I see 4 or 5 others asking for tips I leave the band and go elsewhere.

I always tip my entertainers. I have a couple "favorites" that I watch and talk with when there. I tipped the one over 3k last night alone and I was only in there 3 or 4 times with less than 20 BF and wounds each time. I think the good ones should be tipped. Anyone who asks for a tip will never receive it. I also heal their action pools while I am in there as well.

What we need is bouncers. Kick out the deadbeats and a better way to see who is "watching and Listening" to us, In a crowded room a dancer or musician has no idea who is watching or listening to them . they know when they are being watched ( but not who) as they start to get entertainment healing exp. ( which goes up way faster then dancing and music) Whcih is why you may se afk, they are trying to get thier dancing/ musis up as it is slower than any other profession. If I have a gun Marksman will make thier level1 pistol in a hour ( maybe 2) but a dance takes a LOT longer to get thier dancing exp up. and if thats all they are doing then they live on your tips. You want interaction? Why? When you go to a play or any othe rstage show you don;t get interaction? Why is it different here? Understand the difference is you already paid to see a stage play or your favorite band, you don;t TIP them. ( there is a concert hall in most cities you know). IS it really so hard to tip? They are helping you just by dancing and there is NO need to be stingy. IF you don't get the interaction you crave then tip less, Its no reason NOT to tip.

I remember My mother, Who worked as a waitress telling me, You always leave 10-15% , based on quality of service and how well the food made you feel , AND then you add a single Penny. This penny was heads up for good service and tails up for bad. And I have always followed that advice. IF you dont like the service tip 1 pt for each bf, if you do like it tip 2-3.

IF you are having a good time you would stay beyond just a BF heal and you would tip more. People go to cantinas in the game to heal , But they can also go to plan, to socialize with thier buds, etc. All of these people can watch while socializing, There is no reason they should not tip if they get SOME benefit. People who want to dance to heal thier own ( or just up your exp without having to deal with the healing aspect) should go to the concert halls as there is NO one there.

Gee...another thread on tipping! I think they need to fix the freedom of speech exploit!

honestly...if you haven't made any tips at all, then you must be doing something wrong... I tend to tip over 1k credits if the person is not AFK, and has a good personality (i.e., friendly chat/banter with the patrons, doesn't harass with the "tip me you losers" comments, thanks people for tips recieved, etc...)

If nothing else, midnight, you could relocate to Theed on Lowca. That's where I tend to hang out.
