Guys, this is incredible!! You've just solved the mystery for me! ![]()
The very day I started getting full dmg hits on Action through the 4 pieces of armor was the day I started wearing a skirt, as I'm working towards TKM and it looked pretty neat. It's also worth noting, that this is not only a hole, for I discovered something else last night. Was fighting Sharnaffs again, and had 3 on me at once, I was at half my action bar when all of a sudden I got incapped (I don't doctor buff). In about 6 seconds all 3 hit me with this 'hole', but the issue is that all 3had intimidate2 on them and were also blinded and stunned!! On average they were doing 40-60 dmg per hit before armor reductions, but when they hit the 'hole' through the skirt, I was receiving over 200 dmg points, hence the incap!
Bit of a shame as I like the look with the black/red skirt and black composite, but it's not really practicable considering the nature of the hole that I discussed above. It could really be classed as a bug since the full dmg gets past intimidate2.
Another bit of information for you all... my link in the original post says that dmg reduction of armor is worked out according to how many bits you've got covering that area i.e. with legs, if you only wear 80% effective boots without leggings you receive the 50% reduction for Armor Rating 1 but only 33% of the 80% effectivess because the pants count for the other 66%. Well this theory proved incorrect for me, as my boots got hit by the sharnaffs once for 84 dmg points, 76 of which was soaked up by my boots, which works out as 80% effectiveness when you do the math (and I wasn't wearing leggings).
Continue to discuss if any of you have any other interesting experiences as I've already learnt a lot from your feedback, thanks all! ![]()

Use an Anti-Decay Kit, or try to repair it.
