So, what 'time of certain designers' was put into this? It wasn't even proof read since the typos of the orgininal in the BE forum are still there.
So, my question again is, where is the developer writen BE guide we were promised, because this is not it.
I think many BE's will consider this a promise still unfulfilled.
Oh, how's the work going on getting either skill tapes to work as the feature said, or correcting the feature to reflect how skill tapes work?
Still not sure what it means? Click here for an example, and here is the original work.
EDIT: Updated the sample links. It was pretty easy to find the content because the guide copied the FAQ word by word

This so called advanced guide that you guys have been working soooo hard on for months has been cut and paste from the BE forums, reformatted and pictures added - you didnt even take the time to remove the spelling/typing errors, repeated sentences and out of date information.
This truely is appalling - exactly what were you doing all these months? Perhaps you were actually trying to find an active ranger to pose for the pretty picture

Make you wonder who TF is in charge of the Quality Assurance at this particular SOE joint?
Ididn't expect tosee this kind of work ethics from a grand developer like SOE, but there is a first time for everything right?
Gosh, I mean it's a good things nowthe forums areopen topublic, I am sure a few game sites wouldn't mind linking the Friday Feature to the BE forum FAQ to get a few laughsfor their readership.
"Game DeveloperCut-n-Pastefrom Community FAQ as Official Gaming Guide"
This might be the first time in MMORPG history where the developer actually had to rely on FAQ generated from the player community to create an officialgaming guide... The trouble is that therewas no effort made to correct grammatical errors and spelling mistakes from the FAQ, and the content is transcribed to the official Friday Feature word by word. Also included in the FAQ were outdated information that the developer somehow managed to include in the official Guide as well, apparently unaware of the changes in their own game.
Crap, double posted. Might as well make use of it.

Stormkraken, it's not plagiarism if you give credit to the original author, which he did at the top of the "Chapter 8" page, where Mirrl's guide starts. I still agree that it should have had some original input from the BE programmers, but it's not plagiarism.
You are right, they did give credit to Mirrl. But then again, by using this forum, we agree thatall the content found within this site already belong to that of SOE. To my knowledge SOE did not ask Mirrl's permission to user her material (again, even if they did, it would be just a gesture because her guide is already property of SOE.)
Legally, SOE did nothing wrong because they own everything that's posted within the SWG forum.
Quality-wise, SOE just sunk about as low as a game developer can go with this Friday Feature.
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...
Somebody set up us the BE FAQ.
All your post are belong to us.
