I have been invited to a beach party. I was wondering, as a master ranger, am I allowed to wear "hawtpants" as part of my bathing suit? If not, what do you suggest that I wear for a bathing suit?

I really want to support our war against "hawtpants" because I totally agree with it, but what do I wear to a beach party? I don't want to get my good clothes wet, they might shrink.

Be unique! I promise you everyone else will be there in that garment. You need to stand out from the crowd

You've mentioned the name of the garment whose name we will not mention several times now.
Be assured, the Loyal Guardians of RATGWNIWNU are watching you VERY closely for other 'tailorlike' tendencies.
A Ranger will wear camopants to the beach. He/she may leave the shirt off, and, as it's a party may actually wear sandals, though a good pair of calf hugging reinforced boots are suitable wear for every occaision.
If camo isn't you're thang, then khaki shorts, desert boots, and a good sensible wooly pully as worn by the LRDG in the Sahara is just topper.

that was the idea of this post...............to have fun and I think it's working, but I WILL NOT wear those garments that no one speaks of and I will NEVER be a tailor. I am happy being a ranger/creature handler and will probably stay this way for life. Thank you for all of the fashion advice.

When my character won the Mr. Sapphire Lake, contest at my towns BBQ, It wore: Black Pantaloons, Black Sandals, and a black Heavy Crystal Symbol with a dark red crystal. Of cause that was in my Master entertainer/master musician days before I became a ranger, so that might have helped
Also, remember to visit an ID to get your hair and beard trimmed, it tend to get a bit messy after a few weeks in the wilderness.
And now you can start the mocking of me, for my past. Just don’t make a monkey out of me, that to dangerous here on this board. /call Swoop and speed off.
