These are two ways to accomplish the same effect.

If you target someone friendly you get a blue box highlighting them, if you start to attack them you shoot through them at their target which you will see with a light grey targeting box.

The problem being, you don't get the target in your target window, you get your friend. As such, I'm unable to see if the states and effects I am applying to my target are sticking and when they are about to run out. This makes my task of crowd control considerably less effective. I basically have to select my own target at my discretion anyhow in order to see what I'm doing to it, so /assist is useless to me.

the problem with this post is that its NECRO FROM 03 lol
just target your buddy and you will attack what they are attacking i guess
