Anyone know how long a player can be dead and the ring still work.
You can wait as long as you want. Just make sure your aroud to type or move the mouse around so you don't autolog out of the game on accident.

So if you were a Jedi and were killed by a bounty hunter can the bounty hunt kill you again as soon as you rez yourself with the ring or are you removed as a target after you "die".
If not I can imagine it might be a long wait for some of those bounty hunters to go away. I saw someone in coronet a while back standing over a dead jedi for quite some time. I wasn't sure what he was waiting for, but now I am curious.
I think they are waiting for the jedi to clone. As I understand it, the bounty hunter doesn't get his reward if the jedi is rez'd by someone else.

Actually yeah you can get right back up and they can't attack. The big issue before about the clone camping is because once the BH DB's the Jedi his mission is over, he receive his pitiful unjustly payment of 15k the Jedi takes a 50k Jedi XP loss and that is supposed to be the end of it.
However, the problem with clone camping was that the BH still had a TEF on the Jedi even after he DB'd and completed his mission. He was able to attack the Jedi when he stood back up with no mission on him. That was the issue but they supposedly have fixed it now so that when he wins or loses the TEF is cleared.
So yes you can get back up now and he can't attack you anymore. Unless he is of the opposite faction and you are both declared. Then he can attack you again.

just a related question.
I have never been rezzed how does it work? (i have the ring too)
usually when i have died in the pastI get the "clone option" window come up about requested and nearest clone centre.
how do u select the ressurect?
do u just ignore this box and use the ring or what?
Dream
When you get killed while "wearing" the ring, the clone dialog will instantly pop up. Don't do anything with this window; especially try to close it or escape out of it. Bring up your inventory and select"resurrect" (I believe that's the word) from the radial menu on the ring.
NOTE: If you had buffs before using the ring, you'll lose them (since you died) so don't use the ring until the threat that killed you is out of range. Otherwise, you could just end up killed again.
