Wrong guy.

And do they really owe us an explanation, probably not it is nice to hear this stuff but it is not required of them to tell us if someone moves on.

I don't expect to know every detail of thier HR but Tyrant was someone who was actively participating in the community. He was someone who had a quite a few conversations going so I could see how people would want to know if he isn't there anymore.

Not because they think it's thier right but because they were in the middle of something...

You're only as good as your last accomplishment- ask John Romero. People split all the time over "creative differences" or some other such rubbish. I'm not saying it's true or false, or whether he left or was asked to leave. I just thought it was an interesting thought is all.

from the article i belive he left...wouldnt blame'em...if SOE is going another direction than he wished for...which currently sucks(been waiting for a cu update for over 2 months...pictures dont tell me anything)...i can see why he left...i probably would've too.

with his background he shouldnt have any probs getting gigs..thats for sure..

well that's REALLY disappointing. I was impressed with a lot of the candor and actual useful information he provided in Jan. to kick off the New Year in a positive light. Particularly since SOE hadn't saidanythinghelpfulsince launching Jump-to-Desktop in Oct. on what would be coming next. There was a flood of people who left because of that expansion and who justifiably didn't have anything to go on that things would improve. Walton seemed to turn things around and give us hope. Him and Calandryll gone, Jesus! Better renew my other MMO's subscriptions before I lose all gear...

I honestly thought things were turning around too

Unless, of course, your job was related to communications with the masses.

Wwo, I was hoping, even with Caladrlly gone, things would be fine with Tyrant at the helm..this makes me sick for 2 reasons. Number 1.) He had a vision to make this game fun-I don't hold much hope for that now (I used to really respect Tiggs but her communication has gotten poor like everyone else's) 2.) SOE lost one of the best in the industry and we are going through all these changes leaderless-with NO commmunication??

I hope we don't hear about them pulling the plug soon

The CU thread is up to 115 pages and a Dev hasn't replied in 3 days. It seems like they don't care anymore.

I love this game and have been here since August of 03 and it's really getting me worried with all the silence in the last month and on something as sweeping as the CU.

I agree they don't owe us an explantion but they do owe it to us to let us kow who the heck is in charge-now that Tyrant is gone.

I've worked many places that theupper level management has "left" and at no time was there silence as to who took his/her place.

They let us know about Caladryll but not Tyrant. My take on this is that Tyrant left on his own then and they won't make an anouncement until they have a replacement. Either way, it's scary going through this important of a phase in the game with the level of communication they have been giving us and now, we deal with the fact SWG is leaderless-until I hear anything official contradicting that, I have to make an educated assumption.

That's a good point about this transition phase. I wasn't think in terms of the CU and expansion pack. SOE does seem rather tight-lipped about thing in general. I wonder if they're still calling the shots?

THAT is an excellent point. I wonder if anyone form LA has recently left ot helm a major game?
