So can the player base get an update as to who is currently leading this game?
IGN wrote he is currently in-between gigs, so I can only guess that this didn't happen amicably.

Can weget a Sr. SOE person to let us know this? Rather than IGN? Maybe Mr. Smedley can take time away from discussing Everquest to inform us? Or are we back to a total lack of communication?
Sorry Tiggs, but something this big should not be an announcement from you.....

I think it would've been just fine for Tiggs to break the news.
That IGN interview before any announcement from SOE is poor comms again though.

I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories, but I don't suppose this is related to the LA taking over rumour that was floating around a few months ago?

Well, in the hierarchy of things, I know that at my job, I would not be the person to announce that my boss's boss left....it would be the person above him/her....

That thread is in regards to John Hana (Calandryll) not Gordon Walton (Tyrant).
And true enough on the hierarchy, v good point.

Hmm...
First Calandryll now Tyrant. The downsizing has begun. Perhaps all those new people they added to the team are just in fact, replacing those who are now getting the axe?

Wrong guy.
And do they really owe us an explanation, probably not it is nice to hear this stuff but it is not required of them to tell us if someone moves on.

Regardless of the exact meaning of the quote it was a very intresting article.

... that's a shame. He seemed to be headed in the right direction and appeared to be giving the teams the prodding they needed to get things done.

I think that was why he was let go, he was actually trying to make this game fun, something I swear SOE is against, sometimes.
