I've been on support chats (not SWG)that were obviously robots. Really sad when they call it "live chat".
Thanks for the info. We've been getting random disconnects and crashes as well.

WildKarrd: I am a jedi in game and this creates a huge problem for me being that
death is a huge loss of xp.
CSR Mark S.: We can assist with crashing
CSR Mark S.: Please delete these files : Swgclient_r.exe, dbghelp.dll, dpvs.dll,
gl05_r.dll, gl06_r.dll, gl07_r.dll, mss32.dll, qt-mt305.dll From your
StarWarsGalaxies folder. Next restart the game and run a full scan please.
WildKarrd: hows that?
WildKarrd: ok will do
Can anyone confirm that following this procedure has stopped the ctd?

I'd like to hear from some players that actually tried this and saw improvement.

yup sounds tippical I would /rude but i'm kind. Seems anymore the norm to have a problem. Just now I was on my nova courior and constantly fell into leak spots and such. Brought some people on board to let them see my pretty new ship one suggested I use duck tape to fix the holes only if I could do that

You can try to replace the client, but don't be surprised when it still happens on occation (once a day for some people) The current client (read patch) put out by SOE is bad and until they get it fixed on their end you are simply going to be reloading the same bad version of the game.

This may not be entirely related, but I was having problems with the game always wanting to download the huge patch files every time I logged in. In the SWG folder there is a file called TREfix.exe, you run this utility when you are offline and it performs an indepth scan of all the TRE files. If it finds anything corrupt it will tag them to redownload. This fixed the load up problem, and client crashes that appeared to be due to video errors.
Anyways, another thing to try if people are having troubles.
