Ok Just had a tech conversation with online tech support, hope it helps others before it is too late...Please give good star rating if helped, so I know that someone has been helped by it.

WildKarrd: I was referred to this chat via In game CSR report, do u need me to log in
and get the case number or can u pull it up

What is the problem?
WildKarrd: oh so can u help with in game problems? basically me and a lot of others
contine to CTD mostly when disconnecting to other charcters and or traveling but we
and especially I continue crashing more and more often when traveling on my speeder
or other vehicle
WildKarrd: I am a jedi in game and this creates a huge problem for me being that
death is a huge loss of xp.

CSR Mark S.: Please delete these files : Swgclient_r.exe, dbghelp.dll, dpvs.dll,
gl05_r.dll, gl06_r.dll, gl07_r.dll, mss32.dll, qt-mt305.dll From your
StarWarsGalaxies folder. Next restart the game and run a full scan please.

WildKarrd: yes how can i get my xp back from all the xp loss i have truly lost
several hours of play due to this

allowed to replace XP or not.

your XP is gone man.
Ive lost 500k of it thanks to the wonderful CTD's and the 3 tickets i put in all came back with 'sorry we cant give back lost XP'.
You can also disable the vertex shader in the launchpad-game options-graphics to lower your CTD's dramatically.
Right now there seems to be 2 things causing crashes: Some wacko issue with the swgclient_r.exe that crashes (info on crash does not mention video card or vid drivers as the cause)..and this happens mostly around the time your client gets flooded with new data (crossing server zones, shuttling, sudden big spawns arounds, crowded spaceport and a gank squad begins fighting another gank squad ..your combat chat becomes a flurry of error messages then BAM! CTD) ... and the second issue was caused when SOE tried to fix the ATI card problems.
Sadly though, I dont consider making EVERYONE have the same problem as the ATI users a solution. Political Correctness i guess. lol.
The graphics issue is fixed mostly by disabling that vertex shader option.
I used to crash every 20 minutes with it on..and crash every single time i had to load new zones. Disabled it and now i dont crash unless i get hit by the swgclient_r.exe overload & crash.
